K-Musculo Medina Artigas Charango Strings - Nylon

The tone is good. They take forever to break in, though. Much longer than other sets I’ve had. I’m still tuning for an hour before finally setting in to play and it’s been months.

These strings are well made in the traditional manner. They sound and feel great. The metal wound low E seems well made but I could not get it through the bridge hole on the Aimara charango. I used a clear nylon B string from a classical guitar set, the sound and tension matched the charango set perfectly. I could still devise a way to drill bore out the bridge hole for the wound low E but it won't be necessary now.

Solid brand, clean and crispy sound, great texture. My go to brand and mode for both of my Charangos.

Strings are well made and resonate well. Highly recommeneded.
