Very high quality, but no lock on this model.
Bought this to replace a 20-year old Rejuvenation Hardware doorset that failed. It's a high-quality alternative at half the price, but it does not have a thumbturn lock. Installed easily in the opening left by the previous doorset; installing can be complex for the novice, as the holes need to be precise and the mounting specific!

Beautiful, heavy and vintage looking with modern convenience
This is a quality piece - looks just like the antique door knob it is replacing. It is heavy, beautiful and well made - I am trying to keep my 1925 home looking authentic, but functioning in the 21st century. Quality pieces like this are worth the price.
