My first set
So Ive been into 1911s for a couple years now but was always hesitant to drop a lot on these vz grips. Now I am a believer. They are worth every penny. They feel amazing and really do provide much better grip than standard checkered grips. And they look pretty classy as well. Lots of color options for whatever gun you have. The hyena brown looks great on my stainless remington r1. Will be buying some for my sig shortly.

These grips are nice and plain double diamond style with a flat bottom. They have outstanding grip to them and look great on my stainless steel 1911. I also ordered Hogue flat blade grip screws to give that old school look. I have VZ grips for other pistols and highly recommend them. They fit perfect and offer so many patterns and colors there is something for everyone.

Great for old Colt look.
Big fan of VZ "Alien" grips but wanted to retain the retro look for my Colt, so I went with these instead and couldn't be more pleased. Palm swell is perfect and the texture is just aggressive enough. You really can't go wrong with VZ grips. Highly recommended.

Bought the grips for my brother. A few days ago he showed me his pistol with the new grips on it. They look really sharp, but most of all the design of these grips provides fantastic non-slip "gripability". He's very pleased.

Outstanding
I've purchased many a product from Amazon, but this is the first review I've taken the time to write. I'm writing it because I've also purchased quite a few sets of grips for my 1911 over the years, and I have to say these VZ grips are outstanding. The fit, finish, and function are first rate, and are well worth the price.

Fantastic
Perfect fit, compliments the pistols appearance while offering great handling performance. A little expensive but great quality. You get what you pay for when it comes to these grips.
