Handmade Icarus Metal Chess Set in Wooden Box

My son loved the set

This was an absolutely amazing buy. Any negative review is wrong. I play chess for hours at a time with friends, we are all so pleased with the board, the pieces, it is of the highest quality.

Very displeased with the quality of this board for the price they are charging.Chessman are not full metal, they are either led or graphite..The head of the queen was chipped and I could draw on paper with the tip of her.This board is wooden with tin hammered over the top, not full metal.It came dented and scratched, very unfortunate.

Item was smaller than expected. Otherwise very nice.

The Portion that holds the players is very flimsy and smashed. It would be nice to have something that truely does hold the pieces in place.

This score should be a 1 but im being kind. Paid $182.00 for a $25 board... The board is small, poor craftsmanship with no attention to detail. The box fell apart at the clasp and hing when we opened it and the pieces are so close in color you can barely tell them apart. Not happy at all.

Would have preferred magnet at the bottom. Pieces tend to fall
