Next day delivery and works Very well. I only used the splitters not the couplers. I needed to split cat6 into 2 different lines and this did the trick. You will have 10/100 speed instead of 1000, tho, but that’s fine for internet access. If this is for a private LAN you may want to reconsider if 10/100 is adequate speed.This splits 1236 and 4578. But it pins out the 4578 into its own 1236 so it’s like you have a pair of 1236 (Port A) and 1236 (port B) and this keeps everything working on both ends. You don’t need to cross any wires.I have data/POE on side A and audio running on the B group. Very happy.

I bought this exclusively for the splitter to allow texting duplex network runs with one tester. The splitter however takes 1-8 on the RJ-45 going in and splits it to 1,2,3,&6 and 4,5,7,&8 and puts both of the 4 wires on the same pairs (1,2,3,&6) going out on both A and B sides.The splitter will work so long as you have have 2 cat(5/6/7/8) wires between them going out of and into the same sides on both ends (i.e. A/B). I’m not sure what purpose this would serve as it makes you use 2 wires in place of one.10/100 does run on 1,2,3,&6 so I would guess the intent is to have 2 devices one on A and one on B to share one cat(5/6/7/8) wire then going I to the other splitter to separate the doubled wire. This however is idiotic because 1 wire can run gigabit (1,000) on cat-5e and 10 gigabit on Cat-6 and up as well as handling multiple devices on both ends by just using a switch. With POE you don’t even need an outlet at the far end to power the switch. I guess this splitter set up may have had a use at one time when you only used 2 pairs, 4 wires out of the 4 pair 8 wire cat(5/6/7/8) cables but today we use all 8 and all this splitter will do is slow you down and add complications over just buying the right thing to use.

I rec'd 2 couplers to split my one ethernet cable into 2 different cables leading to my computer and internet phone. Either I misunderstood what they do or neither of them are working. I placed the main ethernet into the single side then tried to run 2 cables but they did not supply internet to the devices. The 3 ethernet extenders work just fine. I was able to make 18ft out of 3 6ft cables.

The two way splitter doesn’t perform to standard.
