I decided this year I would try and over-winter my scorpion chilli plants which I had grown from seed at the start of 2019. The plant had grown very well but had simply run out of warm weather before producing anything.I brought the plant inside sometime in October and it seemed happy enough untill late December where it started dropping a lot of leaves obviously due to lack of sunlight so I decided to give these grow lights a try.I'm happy to report that in less than 2 weeks the plant is in full recovery! Where it had dropped leaves it is now sprouting new leaves and seems to be in good condition overall.The lights themselves seem very good quality with 4 light "branches" that can be angled and positioned pretty much anywhere. The base uses a spring loaded clamp that is best attached to 0.5 -1 inch deep surface so you will need to bear this in mind before buying.The timer gives you a few options for how long the lights will stay on (3h, 9h, 12h, all the time) but no way of setting when that time duration will start. It is simply from when you turn them on. For example if you turn the lights on at 11am and select 12hours then they will run from 11am - 11pm. Not really a problem - plants don't really care what time it is! You can also select the light type and brightness but I just left mine on ALL and FULL POWER!I would say the lights are powerful enough to easily provide light of as many plants as you can fit under them. Probably 2-3 medium sized plants and quite a lot of seedlings.They lights don't seem to draw much power as they are LEDs so no real power usage to worry about.Very pleased with them and would definitely recommend them.

The product itself is well made and easy to use however the product informaiton is an total lie. Buying electronics form Amazon is a total minefield currently. They need to regulate this better.I am going to keep the light as it was cheap and i want to see how effective it is at growing plants. I will update this review as/if i see results.I have bumped this up from 1 star to 4. The wattage is incorrectly reported but it seems that it doesn't matter. I have chilli's and basil under the light and they are thriving and deep green.

The grow light arrived yesterday. Impressive next day delivery at Christmas time. Lights are well packed and the finish of the product is very good. Theres some real weight to them.The clip can be fixed vertically or horizontally and the flexible arms manoeuvred into the desired position. The arms stay where you put them and don't fall out of position.I'm using these for light for 4 seed trays and there is enough spread to cover the trays (see picture)Control is intuitive and there are instructions to explain the control.Very pleased so far - will post results vs seedlings with no additional light in a month or so.Update: Plants are growing well with the increased light. Aeoniums are less leggy compared to plants with daylight only and have turned their 'heads' towards the grow light. Greenovia are growing fast and Ive rescued an Ensete banana seedling that was suffering due to lack of light. So pleased with this light that I'm ordering a second unit.

Perfect for house plants that are light starved and/or for seedlings to give them a fantastic start in life.A plant that was left to me by my dearly departed gran was abused while i left it in the care of my so called trusting brother for 2 weeks while i enjoyed a well deserved holiday, needless to say the plant was at deaths door when i returned.I thought what have i got to loose, for the price of the light its worth the risk, turns out it was not a risk but an investmentFast Delivery, great responses from the seller, helped out loads setting up these lights, The difference in growth to my house plants ive seen since i brought this light is amazing, Loads of new growth and shoots, Best the plants been looking for years.For some reason i cannot attach photos to this review, i dont leave my reviews so perhaps its just me, but i thought this light was worth the effort in leaving a short review,

Lovely new grow light purchase.Very happy with this item.I have several different makes of lights that I have purchased over the years and I'm particularly pleased with this one.It has a combination of lights that serve different purposes for the growth and well-being of the plants.Red and blue LED's are nicely balanced by the two very bright, powerful white spot lights, centrally located in the middle of the unit. These really illuminate the plants underneath well, showing them off with an accurate colour representation as well as boosting their growth rate. There are switches to control the groups of lights separately.Despite being advertised as a 1000watt unit, it is actually very efficient to run, using only approx 200w of power.There is an internal fan to cool the unit whilst in operation, this is a lot quieter than some other lights I've used in the past, making it much more pleasant to be around!I'm using the unit in my lounge as my primary source of light and it illuminates the whole room and the plants underneath, creating a great atmosphere.
