Ateco 1446 Decorating Comb, 3 Sided

This is a great tool for decorating the sides of 9"x13" cakes. (I'm sure it wouldn't work on tall cakes, but I'm fine with that.) I just used it on a book cake I made for my grandma's funeral. I carved a book shape out of a regular 9"x13" cake and used this to create the "pages" on the sides. I'm convinced every cake decorator should have one of these tools. It also fits nicely in my Wilton Decorator Preferred Tool Caddy. It fits right under my icing dyes without taking up any additional space.

Great cake decorator tool

I was surprised at how tiny this was when it arrived. I am not sure how it will work to make any kind of design on my cakes, I havent tried it yet, but the grooves are so tiny and close together Im not sure it will work great.

A great value. Practical little three-sided tool that fits in any kitchen drawer. Would have liked a really different pattern on the medium edge.

Love this comb. I have worked with these combs for years. They are a nice sturdy comb. For the people that don't like it because they say the teeth are too deep and it cuts into the cake apparently don't know how to use a decorating comb. When I worked as a professional cake decorator these were the only brand we used
