Excellent product, precise, easy to use.

This is a terrific caliper for woodworking. Feels great in your hand, slide action is perfect whether by wheel or push, display is super easy to read, and it's spot on accurate. I tested it against my reference brass setup blocks and my older caliper, and it was 100% accurate to the .001. I really like the ability to switch between 32nds and 128ths of an inch. For most things woodworking the lower resolution tells me what I need to know in a number that my brain processes easily. For more precision, the 128ths are nice because it puts the decimal reading in context. I don't know what .023 means off the top of my head, but I do know what 3/128 means.

The display refresh rate is rather SLOW, I have to wait almost a second for the reading to show up. Very annoying compared to my other calipers.The edges are a bit sharp and the movement is not as smooth as a Harbor Freight Doyle or Mitutoyo caliper, although it is not as rough as the cheapest calipers out there and is perfectly usable.It does come with two CR2032 batteries and a NICE case with an actual hinge, not just a plastic flexture. The only complaint was it came without any battery/s, a minor inconvenience since I happened to have one on hand. Seller was notified through Amazon and two batteries were promptly sent via USPS.The calipers were tested against a printed (1/64 to 1") Fraction-Decimal-Millimeters Conversion Chart, selecting several random choices of initial measurement then viewing the alternate values using the selector button. A very impressive tool!

The media could not be loaded. Bought this a year and a half ago to try some digital calipers instead of my trusty dial calipers. Used it between 20 and 30 times since then and now the digital readings don't change whenever the tool is used or they are constantly switching to random values. For the sake of the video, I insert a brand new battery just so you can be sure it's not a low battery issue. Tool kept in its case and inside (conditioned air) when not in use.I will admit when I first got it, it was pretty nice, and the case it came with is solid, with cut foam insert. The cut is just snug enough where it counts, but over-sized in other places. I felt this was to my advantage since that left just enough space for me to keep an extra battery in its original plastic (extra cardboard removed) and the mini screwdriver for opening the battery drawer. Generally, I don't like leaving batteries in tools like this when not in use, and with this tool's case/foam, I was able to half eject the battery drawer and store it that way so it was ready to push in and use the next time. That makes this all the more disappointing a product as the thing has probably had power less than 4 hours total before it stopped functioning.An important thing to note, as well, is that while the tool CAN be used without the digital part working, your accuracy degrades to the same as a tape measure.

I originally purchased similar calipers from Neiko. That pair drove me crazy because when you moved to resize they keeped blinking. I returned them and purchased these. They were well packaged with anti rust paper in a nice box. They came with two batteries and a tiny screwdriver to open where a single battery will go. A certificate of calibration was included. Adequate directions. Nice fit and finish. Love the fastner mode. I'd buy another pare.

I'm a 68 yr old furniture maker. My eyes are not what they used to be and I was having trouble reading my old faithful Starrett calipers that I've had for many yrs. I bought these digital calipers and they are fantastic. I just finished cutting tenons for a table and had no trouble reading them. The accuracy is top notch. I wish I had gotten them yrs ago.I've sharpened my mortiser bit so many times it's gone from 7/16 to 13/32 I easily adjusted my tenons to match using these calipers.

El calibrador o vernier, tiene funciones de milímetros, pulgadas con fracciones y la mejor que es la de pulgadas en fracciones para medir las tuercas o tornillos, para uno que está acostumbrado a medir en milímetros, muchas veces se me complicaba saber que llave necesitaba usar para determinado tornillo en el sistema imperial o de pulgadas, con la función del calibrador es muy sencillo de saber. Aparte el cero siempre se conserva y no hay que estar ajustando el calibrador por lo que es muy confiable, el material del cuerpo es de acero inoxidable y los dígitos son grandes y fáciles de leer, por lo que la parte donde está la pantalla puede parecer demasiado grande para algunas personas, pero en general estoy muy satisfecho con el vernier, ya que tiene su caja para guardarse y vino con una batería extra, misma que tampoco es difícil de conseguir ya que es una batería muy común.

Por mi profesion de electronica me resulta una herramienta muy util, ya contaba con otro calibrador de la misma marca y en mi opinion es un exelente calibrador, este modelo trae otra funcion muy util para saber la llave que usar de acuerdo a la tuerca que se va a utiizlar en general muy bueno y preciso.
