STAR BRITE Sea Safe Hull Cleaner - 32 OZ (089738P)

This stuff worked exactly as I had hoped and read on the reviews. I poured it into a spray bottle and sprayed it on the sides, let it set for a few minutes and hosed it off. A few areas with really have lake scum, I used a brush and scrubbed lightly just to spread the cleaner over it evenly. It was a light scrubbing. Didn't even have to scrub that hard. Exactly what I was looking for to remove all that gross lake scum! Boat looks brand new! First pic is with just a test spot and Second pic is after cleaning it all!

Product worked great. I put it in a lawn style pump sprayer. Only negative a d reason for 4 stars was cost. It doesn't go a long way. 19 foot boat needed two bottles.

I had my boat in the ocean harbor for over a year. Before I took it out of the harbor I had it lifted out with a boat crane and they pressure wash the boat. The dark build was what was left after they pressure washed it. When I got it home, I tried washing it with chlorine and toilet cleaner, but they did not touch the stain. This was a little pricy, but I deiced to give it a try. It was worth the money but the bad condition of my boat 1 bottle only did half my boat, so I order another to finish the job. I did scrub the bottom to remove the heavier deposits. I wore eye protection but being environmentally friendly I did not wear gloves and their was no chemical reaction to my skin. I should of wore gloves, but I was just going to test it because I was not expecting it to work. This is the first time I have ever written a review of a product I have purchased.

Amazing on my water stains on fiberglass hull. Wiped it on with cloth and they disapeared. Highly recommend! And it is made in America!

I usually do not review products but this stuff was amazing. I had never cleaned the hull of my 8 year old boat except with soap after every use since I fish in saltwater. The white hull had become stained over the years. I am selling the boat and needed to clean the stains. I did some research and watched some videos and decided against the toilet bowl cleaner in favor of the Star Brite. I literally put some on a rag and starting wiping the hull. Within 30 seconds the stain was gone and the hull was white again. It took maybe an hour max to wipe down the entire hull. Rinsed it off. Boat looks new. I will definitely do this more often on my new boat to keep the hull looking new and white. I wish I could find something as easy to use to clean the mildew and stains on the house.

Was what I expected

Used on a sailboat that was kept in fresh water for a summer. Pressure washing and scrubbing would not remove the brown stain and some of the strange plant growth on the bottom. But this worked super fast with little effort. Since it is supposedly better for the environment than the regular star brite hull cleaner, I'd recommend trying this version first.

I've used this product for over 10 years and am very happy with it.I have an 18 foot runabout on a freshwater lake. The algae covers the bottom by the end of the season. I use plastic sheeting to protect the trailer and then use a pump sprayer to apply the Hull Cleaner. Most of the time the algae comes off without any scrubbing. I do have to use a brush near the waterline.The cleaner has not affected the grass or the blacktop.

Habe mit dem Mittel alte organische Verschmutzungen an meinem Sportboot entfernt die noch vom Vorbesitzer stammten. Der Kraft- und Zeitaufwand war überraschend gering.Das Zeug ist aber agressiv. Gummihandschuhe sind m.E. die Mindestausrüstung. Beim nächsten mal nehme ich noch eine Atemschutzmaske dazu. Ich habe einmal nicht aufgepasst und gegen den Wind gesprüht. Beim Einatmen bleibt einem erst mal der Atem weg - für Asthmatiker sicherlich kein Spaß.Mit der richtigen Ausrüstung also eine absolute Empfehlung für sehr hartnäckige Verschmutzungen

Tatsächlich funktioniert hiermit die Algenentfernung sehr gut. Super Alternative zu den bisherigen Produkten, die auf dem Markt sind bzw. die ich versucht habe.
