MILW 4-1/2" TRIM SQUARE

Initial they seem silly small, but they are easy to hail around, put in you pocket and they are sized well for cutting studs or using the offset for casing doors. It’s a go to for my trim carpentry work.

Easy to read, compact for carrying it in my mini saw tool bag. Nice weight, lays on 2x4's which I use for small home projects building wood tool boxes & garden wooden trellis boxes. Adds to my other 12 & 24 ft squares for use as saw guides & marking saw cuts on smaller wood stock 2x2's, 1x 3's & small shelving jobs. Quality made tool to have & I really like the weight of it marking my mini saw cuts. I've been looking for small framing tool & I found it in metal not plastic. Milwaukee makes good tools of all kinds!

I'm obsessed! It's the perfect size. Can't tell you how many times I've wanted to run my square somewhere and ever so slightly just too long. (usually on 2x6 material). This thing fits in my pocket perfectly, has easy to read numbers, came perfectly true square, and is just the best. As an avid Dewalt user, my only complaint is that it's that ugly milwaukee red, lol.

Product was delivered quickly and is built good. Definitely a plus when you need to make sure your woodworking project is square.

The product is of course Milwaukee for those whom only get that brand. Other than that it’s small, light, and durable. I do new construction and it fits in my back pocket with my torpedo level so I carry it all day no matter.

Product is as described, plus a couple of extras. Be sure to read the tag that comes attached to it. I saw some useful info on there that I didn't see on the website. The very first thing I noticed about this square were the edges. They are machined, not cast, poured or stamped. This means there are sharp 90 degree corners on the edges. Perfect if you need a very precise mark for cutting. Concerning & overkill if you just want your square to fit in your pocket, but using it for rough ins. Ultimately, I got this for one of my workers. He seems to really like it. I'll keep an eye on it & update if any issues come up. I personally use a holder attached to my tool belt that holds my 7" speed square.

I like the light weight. I don't do much framing. As an electrician, the majority of my cutting is for blocking between studs or rafters and the majority of those are 2x4's. I still have a need for larger framing squares, but I'm glad I bought this one.

Really nice tool. It is like a piece of art. Easy to read, crisp metal feel, nice in the hand. I didn't want to break the bank with a Woodpecker square, this is annive compromise

The Milwaukee 4 1/2"" Trim Square MLSQ040 is the perfect tool for using with a power saw on small works, where a full Track Saw setup is to clumsy, not feasible to use such a complex modular setup. Value for money and has always Milwaukee never have failed to impress me with their design, quality and ease of use.

Great for what it states, trim and trim materials. I mostly instal Hardie Board siding and Cedar siding on a daily basis. This square is small enough to comfortably fit in my tool belt without falling out whenever I’m bent in a weird spot or moving around a lot, unlike a normal 7 inch square. Big enough to mark an 8 1/4 inch plank of hardie with 2 passes. Clear, clean, light. Can’t go wrong
