Every well made.
The product was well packed in a heavy duty shipping box. There were a few extra screws and spacers. The mounting brackets were jammed together and hard to get apart but once I did, everything was fine. The mounting brackets fit weird. In one photo in the Amazon listing the brackets face downward in the photo (Screws and wingnuts on bottom). But in the instructions and everywhere else it shows brackets facing upward with screws and wingnuts on top where your gear will rub. The rack is well made and heavy duty.

Simple install for removal and re-installing when needed
This rack and cargo net worked perfectly for my 9hr family road trip to Phoenix. I recommend also supplementing it with a cargo strap or two. Some of the reviews complained about the wing nuts that protrude slightly above the rack. Yes, they are there and like that to make removing and putting the rack back on simple enough to do without tools or running boards to stand on. A blanket or padding covering the wingnuts will prevent any damage, obviously. It's a well-designed utility rack that will fit snugly to your crossbars, and will be easy to remove and stowaway when not needed. You can also easily remove the "leaf" to make it 43" instead of the 64" if needed.

Great product, Great price!
Overall a great product. A little more assembly than expected. I had a tiny bit of damage from shipping probably. Strong and looks great.

Works Well on Subaru Assent
Hubs and I had to watch a couple of Youtube videos on how to assemble this roof rack, but once we saw how to do it it wasn't hard. The instructions that came with it weren't all that clear. It fits his Subaru Assent perfectly. It will hold a lot of stuff and the cargo net helps to keep everything steady when travelling. We don't keep it on the roof all the time but take it off when not using it. It tends to rust a little bit but not badly. It was a LOT cheaper than the one the Subaru dealership sells.

Roof rack carrier and net
We used this on a recent vacation trip with our soft sided roof carrier. I wanted something stable to keep the soft side off the roof glass to prevent breakage. This rack did the trick! It was easy to install, light weight but sturdy. Instructions were a little vague but I watched a video on how to install and it was very helpful. My husband had broken his foot so the installation was mainly on me. Very easy and basically all he did was tighten the “caps” to the brackets. The net was easy to wrap and secure around carrier and rack. The big hooks are removable and can be placed where you need them. During the trip to and from, checked the roof and nothing moved. We did not experience much noice either from the rack. Very happy!!!

Easy to assemble, very happy so far, fit is 95% on 2020 Toyota Rav4 hybrid roof bars
I installed this roof rack on a 2020 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid. The roof rack took about 45-60 minutes to put together myself. Lots of screws and lots of packaging that needed to be thrown out (like zip ties). I found the fit of the screw threading and the male/female insertion points on the rack pieces was very good.I was afraid this would be too big but it looks right on the car, proportionate. The rack hardware also installed easily on the car (the clamps that connect the rack to the roof rack bars).Only issue is that this rack is not a 100% clean fit with the 2020 Rav4 roof bars. More like 95%, just slightly off. But it fits close enough, feels solid and sturdy, and I will use it and not return it, but just flagging it for other owners of the 2020 Rav 4 (this may also apply to some Lexus models since I think the Rav4 and Lexus SUVs use the same roof bars). It looks good from the road. You would have to be eye level to the roof bars to see that it is not 100% fit.The Rav4 roof bars are mounted in a fixed position, cannot be adjusted, so that wouldn't help with fit for this roof rack. Also glad that this item shipped very fast by Fedex. Very happy about that.

Very sturdy yet pleasantly light to handle
Very sturdy yet pleasantly light to handle. Very reasonably priced. It was less than 1/3 the cost of the smaller version dealer/name brand racks. The rack is rated for 250 pounds of cargo but be sure to verify your car's weight limits (inside driver's door). This may be too much rack when loaded. We chose the 3 piece basket, a like sized waterproof bag and bungy net for complete versatility of sizes/weather conditions for all possible future needs. We chose a basket primarily for out of town shopping because an enclosed carrier is much smaller in volume and unforgiving of square/rigid items. This is a BIG basket with all 3 pieces, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is approximately as large as the top of your car. I recommend having two people install it on your car. (Take a step stool with you.) I wish the brackets attached to the basket and then attached to car's crossbars so they would be in the right place the next time you put the basket on the car. Instead, you have to remove the brackets, keeping all the pieces in the right order, not losing any washers, and replacing onto the basket or storing without losing. The instructions are horrible, worthless actually. It was easy to figure out how to put it together but there were pieces in the sack that were absent from the instructions and we found no use for them. We plan to add lock washers to all bolts, especially the brackets, so nothing can loosen or get lost with road vibration. We just took our first trip (empty) with no problems except this rack does add a lot of road noise! We had to close the inner headliner to the sunroof to make the trip tolerable. We wonder if removing the front "spoiler" would make it travel better when empty but would be a lot of trouble unless the supplied nuts are replaced with easier to use wingnuts.
