The most important product ever created since cavemen mastered Fire!
This Traeger is the Leonardo Da DaVinci and the “Ironwood 885” is the Mona Lisa of Grills/SMOKER! This is a machine that God himself is in complete Awe! This jaw dropping Product is so good!!!It’s got the ease of Propane with the flavor of Wood/Charcoal! It is absolutely SIMPLE to use!A friend brought a Tri Tip to thanksgiving and promised I would like the product. I tried an end Piece (my favorite) and Time Froze! Floating on cloud 9! I could feel the warmth and happiness in my empty stomach.I PURCHASED ONE THE NEXT DAY! Ironwood 885.Noted Observations,1. The product is HIGH Quality metal.2. Assembly was simple.3. They give you a cool Screwdriver and not that useless Garbage bits other Self assembly product give you.4. Very large grates and cooking space5. It’s operation is straight forward6. It’s operation is , Set Temp, warm up, add meat (or your Tofurkey), push the super Smoke button, set timer and come back when done! The assembly was Simple.I’ve used it every day since I got it.Day 1, Burgers and Tri TipDay 2, Tri Tip againDay 3, Home made sausage (*Drool*)Day 4, Roast BeefDay 5, Pork Spare Ribs (A must)Day 6, tonight, BEEF BACK RIBS!This one I put in the smoker around 12 noon and we sat down and ate at 6:45pm. A LOOOONG Low & Slow Heat & Smoke cook. The final Product was so SO GOOD! I could not imagine food the same way again. This is my first smoker but been with friend who use a different smoker. Nothing got me excited like this one!In fact, out of the thousands of Products I’ve purchased, this is one of a few I actually took the time to add a review. It’s that good!Ya, it’s 1500, but dollar for dollar, a stove is a 1500 dollar heat source. Traeger is a Machine of the Gods! Just look at those Ribs in the photo I added!I am new to the smoker world and this is what this machine has done for me, as a beginner! I cant wait until I fully understand the Art of Smoking!Brisket is next on the list for tomorrow, saved the best for last! This is the best smoker out their
This pellet smoker is BOSS. I LOVE IT. Assembly was as easy as it gets. It was delivered really fast. I downloaded the Traeger app and connected it to my WiFi & smoker very easily. Seasoned the grill then cooked some Ribs. It's so nice to be able to monitor the process with your phone from anywhere. What a time savor. And the RESULTS ARE CRAZY GOOD. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND BUYING THIS. TRAEGER IS THE BEST OUT THERE!

Upgrade from the Pro 575
Amazon front door delivery! Big Amazon box truck arrived, two very friendly workers removed from truck and placed in our garage. I Assembled a week later. Grill was in perfect shape, super easy to Put together.Grill is a lot more sturdy than our Pro 575, and the Ironwood was a bigger cooking space.Pros: nice square, textured grip for opening main door. Fireproof rope on door where it closes (to keep heat and smoke in). Hopper is large enough to hold an entire bag of pellets, light inside of hopper where there is now a pellet sensor. No smoke stack! We got the bundle that came with the folding front shelf and cover. The “Traeger” brand cover for the Pro 575 was junk, we ended up getting an aftermarket that was a lot better. However the new “Traeger” cover that came in the bundle is an upgrade! First cook, was beer can chicken! Perfect. Ohh, the super smoke option!!!! This is game changing. )Only works between 165 and 225)Cons.I wish Traeger would make a handle light for cooking at night, we bought an aftermarket magnet one. The probe that came with the grill is ok, but I never cook one thing, so we have a 4 probe, probe! Wish there was a better option for the grease catch, we use a mason jar in the tin can, as the foil liners always leaked. And we always use tin foil to cover the drip pan, as the Traeger liners are over priced.Overall it is sleek and sexy compared to the Pro with the smokestack. Totally recommend if you want to upgrade, kinda pricy for your first Traeger, but you won’t regret the cost of this if it’s your first pellet smoker.

Great grill!
I ordered this after my electric smoker had an internal grease fire and burned up. Its easy to assemble and quite large so make sure you have room for it. I felt the smaller one would have worked fine but the additional cost for a bigger one was minimal.First, it makes smoked brisket ez. I've done 2 and both were better than most BBQ places I've been to anywhere in the country. The supersmoke option provided a great smokey flavor and ring. The first brisket was into cooking only 6 hrs and it started to rain. I ended up pulling it off, wrapping in paper and finishing in the over. the bark held up, and it was just perfect. As it's actually burning wood instead of smoldering chips, the flavor is so much better.I'm still working out the reverse sear for steaks, chicken, chops. Starting them out at 225 to just under the desired internal temp and then crank the grill up to 475. Last steaks were great this way.Clean up is easy, simply clean the grates, dump the grease bucket, and vacuum up the pellet dust. The wifi app works really nice, so much better than my other bluetooth smoker. They promote not having to deal with propane tanks but when you think about fueling the grill for long cooks, you use up alot of pellets at nearly $20 a bag. I've done the 2 briskets, and 4 other shorter dinner cooks and have gone through just under 3 bags. Not a complaint, just my experience. The preformed foil drip liners are also pricey but you can use regular foil to save money there. If you have the money, enjoy the flavor of wood cooked foods, and a passion for outdoor cooking, just get one. You wont be dissapointed.I'm very happy with th
