Installed on 2015 Siverado and looks great! Make sure to clean area below tailgate so led tape sticks tight. Also, line up the led where you want it and "test fit" where you want the wires to connect to your trailer plug..i removed my license plate, then ran wires thru opening in bunper. I then stuck led starting at one end, peeling a few inches of tape as i moved along..worked great (no screws needed or used)..i did not hook up the reverse light wire..may do in future...looks great tho!

I've always wanted to install this LED strip on the back of my truck for safety reasons (especially in bad weather) so when I saw this on Amazon I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it out for a measly $24-bucks? When it arrived, I was surprised to see how well made it was (and it needs to be I suppose, if it's labeled as, "waterproof"). It installed very quickly (took longer to clean the application area than it took to install it). A word of CAUTION: The adhesive strip is of the industrial type so don't be lazy like me and just "eyeball" the installation reference line. Take your time and draw the straightest line you can because once you apply it....it ain't coming off! As a result of my laziness, the right side is a bit wavy/crooked. Also be advised that it connects to your existing trailer light adapter so anytime you tow your boat, you would have to unplug this to use your trailer lights. But your boat is gonna block most of the light anyway, so it really is not an issue for me. This also means that you won't be splicing to your existing trailer lights wiring which makes this product truly, "Plug-n-Play! Man, this thing is really bright (especially at night) and unlike other products, has the full range of turn signals, brake, running lights and flasher. Trust me, you will have improved you rear-end visibility by 200% after you have installed this LED. It amazes me how something so well made, can be sold at such a reasonable cost (nowadays anyway) and once again, free shipping to the 50th State makes Amazon a winner once more! Great Product!

Let me start by saying this product is great - looks great and is super bright at night. Everything functions as it says, there is no need to buy a more expensive product.The reason for 4 stars - it says it is universal, in reality it is not, many trucks, including my 2010 Chevy Silverado do not have the 4 prong plug, we have the 7 prong plug. DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO HARDWIRE OR BUY AN ADAPTER. Make sure your car has the four prong plug before buying. I was no electrician and I ended up spending $20 at Home Depot on butt splicers (make sure you buy the biggest size because he ground wire is thick). I ended upHardwiring into my trailer 7 prong plug. Took me a lot of time to do research on what wires to cut and connect to this product. I've attached pictures to help with the hardwiring process. The colors of the wires on this product do not match the picture but the placement and purpose of them are the exact same. Cut off the 4 prong plug and hardwire into your 7 prong wire harness. See pictures to find which wires to splice together. If you follow the pictures it works great and should save you a ton of headache and speculation. Still takes about 2 hours to do. Also connect the reverse light wire on the product to your reverse light in your taillight, there are three wires that go to the bulb in the reverse light, splice it to the green one. Hope this helps those of you who have silverados/sierras/or any other 7 way plug (not 4 way) and need to hardwire

Not a whole lot I can say, some times they work, some times they don't. Some times my red lights are red and some times they are orange, contacted customer service they got back in a very timely manner offered to replace the lights after I completed a return threw amazon but didn't seem to know what I was even trying to say... So I figured after all the hassle I went threw to install them and make sure the wiring was correct etc and the fact that they only work for about 5 mins too much of a hassle for a product I wasn't guaranteed would work properly seems comuster services seemed more confused than I was. The product itself is very nice and looks every bit as good as the pictures show, however, it is REALLY hard to get it on your truck in a way that looks clean and flawless like the pictures.The wires that come out were a little short and hard to tuck away into places that wouldn't be seen from other drivers behind me. I ended up removing it from my vehicle because it took away from the overall product. That being said, if that doesn't bother you then this product will be fine for your needs.

Works great on my 2015 Ford F150. Excellent customer service by the seller as well -- the first unit I had started having issues after a year, half of the bar stopped lighting up. Customer service discounted me on another one and I am very pleased with their prompt email responses and curteous service. Installed the new one a few days ago and it works great!For this price, you simply can't beat the quality and customer service. Recommend this to anyone wanting to increase their visibility and add a nice touch to the rear of their truck.Note: you will need to have a 4-pin trailer connection on your truck to get this to work as a plug-and-play straight out of the box.

brake light is yellow can't have that . Ripped it off my truck and threw it in the trash

GREAT PRODUCT. Smaller cars are staying further back once the lights come on as the lights are lower down. I have a trailer plug so easy to install. worth the money if you have a pickup or suv with big tires and notice how other small cars crowd you.

All and all it was OK. Can't expect much for 30 bucks. As everyone has said the wiring is cheap and the plug is junk. I redid the wiring and plug worked awesome. The big down side is the signal lights are a white yellow. So that's OK with turning but as soon as you hit the breaks it lights up yellow. Not good. However in one review it showed a video of them all being red. Also it didn't stick all that good when I put it on used a blow dryer to heat it up and then the tape took hold good. When this one break I'll get another one just with all red leds.

Installed on a Sprinter van and it fits well in lenght. Installation was hard because I didnt have a light plug on my van. Probably plug n play on a pickup.Looks great at night and is bright enough to be visible during the day.The glue has started peeling off after a few weeks but it is to be expected with the harsh weather and the fact that I always bump into it with my boots. Hard shell protects the lights so no risk of easily breaking them. Would buy again

I havent installed these on my truck yet because i applied the no drip this winter and the lights only come with two clips and I think I need at least four for my satisfaction to hold them up properly because the tape will not hold properly over time

it looks great and works well ,,when its on ?, it comes with 2 shity plastic 2 whole clips that brake and even it did hold thats not enough clips to keep the light strip on the truck....i used 5.... 2 whole Swift clips ( u can find these in the electrical DEPT. at Home DEPOT..the sticky strip dosen't really stick well... i had bent these strips in half and used 1 screw for mounting ...matching the 2 swift clip wholes together

Had to cut the plug off that came with lights and rewire it to work on my truck. Have a Ram and they don’t have all the powers to work as advertised. So did my own thing still happy would buy again

What a piece a garbage. Just installed with plug and play when on the red lights flicker, then when the brake is applied the orange turn on and flicker.

Nice but it's not like the picture or as describe it is not a tube it's a roll of lights that u 2 way tape to the tailgate area

It is exactly what they said it was. Odd however that it came with screws for installation, but no screw holes in the product nor is there anywhere in the product you could drill screw holes without damaging it.

I put this on my truck and it looks great, the back up lights are very bright but I find the wires are a little thin so when hooking up make sure your wire is connected properly

Very Bright and nice looking. this is a good purchase and I would buy the LED's again.Hopefully they last longer than the last set...but the last one were not purchased through this company

Easy to install. Extra light when backing up at night, as well as added visibility for other drivers.

Easy to install. Looks great. One thing I would change is the exposed wires where the adapter plugs. Should be wrapped in black so you don't see the coloured wires. Other than that I love it.

Deffinatly not as described, no red lights at all, when brakes are applied all yellow lights come on, totally illegal on the road.
