So impressed I bought another one
I’ve bought tv wall mounts before, many of them but this one is the best I’ve ever used! First off let’s talk about the packaging and the directions; whoever wrote/designed them is a comedic genius! Yes it’s funny but it is the clearest directions I’ve ever seen, and it comes with every single nut, bolt, screw, spacer etc. that you could possibly need for your specific TV clearly marked in separate sections. No more running to the hardware store to buy an obscure size bolt for your off-brand tv. The wall Mount itself is beefy, sturdy very well made and swivels, tilts and extends for your personal viewing experience. In my house the studs are 24” OC so I did need to buy an extension kit (my only complaint about this product, seems they could just offer the different sizes off the bat when you order) but the extension kit works well and is as solid and sturdy as the rest of the unit. I love it, bought one for downstairs and then another one for upstairs (both 65” TV’s) and donated my old ones to VVA. Highly recommend!

Extension Bracket solid and secure
While I agree this could have been included with the main mount kit, or at least linked and called out as a requirement for some installations, this product does what it claims.You easily attach these 4 bars to the main mount, secure then with provided bolts and attach a face plate to hide the innards.They are sturdy and do not wobble when affixed. You get a new mounting template.The only con is that there isn't much guidance for placement like some other mounts where you enter height, view distance, tv mount offset, wall width etc.

Does the job could be better
Installed easily. Good mount, I have a 75" on it and it's solid. Only bad part is moving TV in or out is not easy, arms seem to stiff or are binding due to weight. My TV weight is 85lbs.

ECHOGEAR is a great company, making great products!
This extension ended up not being needed for me, since I was indeed able to install just the "regular" ECHOGEAR TV wall mount I also purchased from them, but since I DID unbox this and actually hook it up to the mount before realizing I didn't actually need it, I figured I might as well review it.ECHOGEAR's directions are flawless (and have some nice little infused comedy, which is a nice change of pace from normal directions one might find), their products are flawless, and they even include a cardstock "template" to hold up to or tape up on your wall while measuring out and marking where you're going to drill the holes.I'm literally buying another ECHOGEAR TV mount for my office TV after writing this review.

No loss of strength from using the extension
When I ordered the wall mount, I had not yet measured the distance between studs in my wall. Once I realized I needed an extension I quickly found this, ordered, received next day and found it to be easy to add to wall mount main bracket and to mount to wall. Template was spot on and wall mount is sturdy and easily handles weight of my tv.

Very sturdy and easy to adjust.
It was used to mount a television. Studs were 21" instead 16". Bracket worked out perfectly, very sturdy and easily extended and retractable.
