Women's Iconic Soft Shell Jacket

Overall I am happy enough with this purchase. I needed a jacket for spring and fall rains and this is heavy enough for that. The style is decent... semi-fitted and a long cut. The fabric is odd feeling. It's soft and has a "rubbery" feel, though it's not a stiff fabric. The main drawback... and I say main because you pretty have to use it if you are closing the jacket... is that the zipper is next to impossible to zip up. it has taken me a good 3-5 minutes just to get the zipper started every time I use it. It's sad that a brand name product uses such a cheap zipper... something the entire product revolves around. I think if I was to do it all over again, knowing what I know now, I would find a less "stylish" coat and find a basic one with an excellent zipper.

Great jacket waterproof and the interior lining is nice and soft. Love the bright colors. I found out on my holiday it works well in temperatures down in the 40s. If it's windy or less than 40s you'll absolutely need a base layer to stay warm. It is a little too long in the sleeve and too big in the waist. I bought the large because I'm top heavy and I don't like my jackets to fit to snug. With this jacket I was able to wear it with a thick vest underneath when it was down in the 30s and I was able to stay warm. I don't mind the sleeves being a little bit long in the rain keeps my hands warm.

I got an XL, which should have fit according to the sizing chart. But the coat is either sized wrong or it was cut incorrectly when it was sewn. The upper arms are so tight I can’t get the coat on over even a light sweater. And the fabric across the chest is so narrow that I had to hunch to get the edges to meet. I had a friend who’s several sizes smaller try it and she said it bound her up, too. Awful!

First let me say this is a really sharp coat. Beautiful fabric, a little heavier than I had expected it to be. But it runs narrow in the shoulders, I am 5’3, 150 pds not overly busty, I purchased a large and the only thing I’ll be able to wear underneath is a very thin T-shirt and still be able to drive the car, an XL would have been huge in every other way. Also the hood is just a sweatshirt hood it is not waterproof so that doesn’t make any sense for a raincoat. Lastly the sleeves are really long I would have to roll them at least twice. But this coat is so cute I’m really on the fence about returning it, think I would have to shed a few pounds for it to be truly comfortable.

Beautiful coat. Bought the yellow. I’m 5’6, 130 lbs and the medium was a great fit for me. Roomy, but not bulky. Flattering fit.

I love this jacket! Comfortable and I got so many compliments on the color! A couple pockets and a great fit! I like that it tightens in at the waist.

So this is a wonderful jacket. It's perfect for the rain and it is also slightly heavy enough that it can be worn in colder temperatures. It is very comfortable, and you can tell it is well made. The zippers make the simple design stylish and elegant. Very much worth the price. The only reason I knocked off a star is because some of the zippers are not as easy to open and close. Maybe this is because they need to be used a couple of more times, and they have to be "broken in" for a lack of better words? Well worth the buy regardless. The same coat is on Macy's website at $180 full price. The pictures on Amazon don't do the coat justice, go to Macy's website to find better pictures and better specifications.

If in between sizes, size down. I am usually a M in tops. and most of my jackets are L. I am a 36 DD so that's why in some jackets I need L. However, going by other reviews I took a leap of faith and ordered an M. Fits perfect. Have not tried it in the rain yet but looks and feels like it is water proof. I could probably not be able to layer but it fits nicely with long sleeves shirt. It's a spring-summer jacket and I have lots of other heavier jackets for different seasons/weather in Canada. Happy with this purchase.

First, it is a beautiful jacket, well- made using quality materials. The sleeves are lined in satin, so it's easy to put on. From shoulder to waist, including the sleeves, the fit is good. Below the waist, it's too snug. It's so frustrating buying clothes on the web. I recently bought another brand-name jacket on amazon... I sized up because of the reviews. I had to exchange it for my regular smaller size. Last spring I bought another jacket on amazon in my usual size, and the tops of the sleeves were so tight I had to exchange it for a larger size. Sigh.This time they don't have this coat in size xl in navy, and even if they did, I don't think I'd buy it, because the top half would then be too big.If you're top heavy, thus coat might fit you well.

I absolutely agree with another reviewer - there is absolutely no cons in this jacket. It is polyester but have look and feel of classic trench fabric. Good length, nice, universally flattering shade of beige, not oversized but not tight either. Just for information - it is not lined. It is jacket for late spring or rainy summer day.

Nice jacket but I should know better than to buy Tommy Hilfiger because they are always tight in the upper arm and shoulder area. Years ago when I wore a small or medium Tommy Hilfiger was one of my favourites. Now that I'm an xL the sleeves never fit.

I was scared ordering online about the size and overall quality but I’m officially in love with this jacket everything about it! The fabric is nice and the hoodie isn’t tiny, my only thing is the pockets are a little small to me. But it’s so comfy and it looks really nice. Too hot out to wear right now but I will definitely have it on hand especially when I’m working night shifts or it’s raining. Will definitely buy another once I gain some weight. Highly recommend
