The product description indicates for 10-15 lb dogs and i checked the size chart as well and my dog is 10-1/5” long from hind leg to base of tail and 11-1/2lbs and this Size L was too cramped for him to lay down in. It fot perfect if he is sitting up the entire ride. Two things that I feel is a designer flaw is that the i aide safety latch to hook on collar is too short and when using as a backpack it will choke your dog if his head is hanging out of the pouch( just not enough slack). Secondly the cheat strap is way too short. I thought at first it was just a short strap to keep the top of the shoulder straps together from falling off your shoulder until i reviewed the Manuf photos and realized it was suppose to be a chest strap- for who- a child?!!! Otherwise, it was made nice for the price, but plan to buy a better and more heavy duty one for future toad trips on my motorcycle. Just felt it wasn't sturdy enough for my Harley but probably great for a bicycle.

I have a senior dog that hates to be left out on adventures since she is not able to walk well I got her this backpack to take her hiking with me and she loved it! She loved being able to pop her head out of the hole. It was also nice the sides were mesh so she could also lay down and still see what was going on. It gave me the ability to still be able to bring her a long for adventures without putting the pressure on her to walk long distances.The backpack itself is very well built and good quality. I like that there is a clip inside to keep my dog anchored, and you are able to tighten the head hole to make it bigger or smaller. The pockets are are great for water bowls and poop bags!

Overall, great product. A big problem was that the zipper spread apart. You know, when it does its own thing and splits apart from what it should do? Not funny, but our little baby could have f'in fell out of that hole! We're on a motorcycle, and it's decent, just don't want her to get the hell loose.

Just received this backpack and it’s great! My main purpose for buying this is so I have somewhere secure to keep my 7lbs pup (est. to grow to 15 lbs) while I transport either on a Citi bike, MTA bus or subway. Only downside is the chest strap is very tight. With an average bust size, I’ve already extended the chest strap to the fullest extent and I can barely clip it on. With my coat on it’s impossible to clip. Only the waist clip is useful. I understand the bottom of the bag needs a sturdy base so your pet isn’t sagging inside the bag but , I’m not thrilled that the bottom of the bag kind of digs into my lower back (I have a history of disc herniations so it’s more sensitive). If you’re hiking with an animal, this may not be the bag for you. But dog loves sticking her head out and then just relaxing when she doesn’t want to. Also loving the clip inside!

It looks great, our kitty loves it but it reeks of some chemical(s)!! We’ve had a couple weeks now and even leaving it outside to air it out but the strong odor continues and I’m afraid it could be toxic?? What IS IT ???

My dogs fit comfortably inside this backpack - worked perfectly for our weekend trip, bringing them with us for the first time. Definitely recommend

- my dog is a 15 lb dog and the sewing holding the straps together is already starting to come undone meaning we are going to have to repair it ourselves, otherwise i am not aware of a better version of this product.
