This is the best jigging reel. Ultra smooth everything and more features than the competition. The 1500hg size is light enough to jig all day long easily. Don't get the slower pg version. The 2000hg weighs much more but gives you added line capacity and faster inches per Crank, and maybe even more drag. I measured the 1500HG and it's at 35.25 inches per crank at full spool for me. I wish it was more but this will get the job done. The larger accurate 500n gives you significantly more inches/crank, line capacity, and drag but is not as smooth, doesn't have the spool lock to break free from snags without loosing all your line, auto clutch to engage from free spool to retrieve by simply turning the handle, or star drag that you can set and forget. Prices are similar between the two. You can't have it all apparently, Choose wisely.
