DIY in Lockdown 2020.
It's Lockdown. What do you do? Build your own quoits set, obviously! So I scratched around and found some wood to make a base and dowel to make the posts. Problem was I packed a bit enough drill bit. Thanks to Tennis Tools THAT problem has been solved and my tool chest is slightly better stocked!A sharp drill bit with reduced shank so it fits into my (Ryobi) drill. Stunning results.

Not fit for purpose
Not fit for purposeusing this 15mm HSS drill to ream out a 14mm hole in aluminium the drill bit actually bent & twisted after going in around 10mm of the bits 100mm shaft also ripping the work piece out of the vice making the work piece uselessfor a HSS drill bit it must be made of a soft steel or not been hardened as I've never had anything like this before . I've had smaller HSS bits snap but never had an HSS bit bend & twist.as this size bit II only use for Reaming out or Countersinkinga person with less experience could of been badly injuredNigel

Not what it said on the tin..
I needed these in a hurry for work, so paid an extra tenner for delivery. The bits, although advertised as reduced shank were 18.5 diameter throughout, so they didn’t fit any of the chucks we had on site. It was only when I got the email today to leave a review, that I realised that I had indeed ordered the right item, but received something different and ultimately of little use.

Very soft.
Used this to open up some 16mm holes I'd drilled with a mag drill to 16.5mm so basically 0.25 mm off each side. 24 holes later drill bit was blunt & slightly bent even though I used cutting paste. Probably fine for plastic & aluminium but the steel used in its construction is very soft. That said you get what you pay for and it did the job so it can enjoy its retirement in the scrap bin.

Amazing!
It's a drill, and amazingly, it drills holes that are 25mm diameter! Who'd have thought it...Sharp enough, not blunted after several holes and the slender shank means it fits in a normal drill (though not my battery powered drill with a slightly smaller chuck) - might want to check that out before buying

Seems good quality tough allowed me to drill through bronze+iron.
Diameter as described but proportion of drill shaft to cutting head is different to the picture and was not as short as I hoped, tight space I had to drill in with a 90' fitting.

Drill will not cut.
I bought 2 of these drills for use on mild steel. They are of high quality manufacture but both have been finished with zero clearance angle at the cutting edge rendering them totally useless. I have ground a clearance angle on them by hand using my bench grinder (not ideal !) and now they cut very well. Buyer beware unless you are handy at such things.

Perfect 20mm hole in plaster board for Gripit Brown.
I already had holes from a previous fitting that was about 10mm - so I couldn't use a flat drill bit because it wasn't going to work since there's no way to center a flat drill bit within a hole that already exists. So I bought this - it centered itself in the existing 10mm hole and expanded it to 20mm - absolutely perfect!LOVE IT! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! AAA+++
