Got this for my wife, who's a fan of HP and the Lego games series. Fun and accessible with the expected irreverence to the source material. Plus, this pack is $6 cheaper than getting the game by itself, so double-win.As a game, it's accessible for just about any age with some degree of patience. This isn't an action game, as much as it's an adventure game of exploration and experimentation. The mechanics are similar to any other Lego game, so if you're good with one, you're good with another title. My wife made it through Year One after a few weeks of play, so it has some value beyond the short-term.

This is one of our favorite Lego games. Some of the screens on the levels make it kind of hard to see where your character is, but that is a minor complaint that is easy to over look in the context of the game as a whole. The storyline is pretty quick to finish, but, as with most Lego games, the real fun starts when you unlock free play. It is a game me and my husband like to play together and we always have fun and the Lego humor is so great.As for this two pack, we just bought it because it was cheaper than buying the game by itself. I don't know why they sell them like this but it is worth it.

My 7 year old requested this game for his birthday. He's played it once so I'm guessing you have to be a Harry Potter fan in order to understand & appreciate the game. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this game unless you've seen the movies and/or are a Harry Potter Fan.

Got this for my six year old for Christmas. She loves it. I have to play with her for about 30% of the time but I was thrilled that she didn't need me constantly at her side to play. I mostly help when she gets stuck on a level and we need to ...ahem... look for a cheat online. But so far we both love the game and how closely it follows the books.

My sons loves the Lego Wii games, and this is the one series he didn't have, so I ordered it for a Christmas present. We have not read the books or seen the movies, but he was easily able to play this and have hours of fun the day he opened it. It comes with a movie DVD, which I'm not sure we'll watch, but the price was lower than the game without the DVD. My son is 7 years old and the game content is appropriate for his age

Like most other reviews of Lego HP 1-4, we have to report that this game has glitches and bugs. One technique that works for us is to abandon the saved game that gets too glitchy to play and start a new game from scratch. Slightly annoying but allows the kids to play the game without tears.
