COAT/HAT HOOK SN 18" 4HK

i love the rustic look. my husband used some screws to secure it to my wall, so with winter coats on it, it holds very well. the price is a bit high, but i really liked it, so it was a splurge. its a keeper!

I don't really understand all the negative reviews. I love the look of this. I don't feel it's cheaply made, I feel like you could say that about a lot of different rustic pieces. It's just simple - wood with hooks on it - the picture really isn't deceiving. We used for a few months before posting a review. We were worried the back hanging system would not be strong enough to hold much weight. We hung it as received using only wall anchors, no other support. We load this thing up. We hang 2-3 backpacks with day hiking gear (not super heavy, but definitely some weight), 2 hydration packs and 3 helmets at all times. Sometimes we even through a jacket up there too. It has held with no issue. So I would disagree that it's junk. I love the way it looks and would recommend it if you like rustic decor.

Nice coat rack. Good size to accommodate a families coats at an entrance door or just as a decorator item in the house. Very functional. Easy to hang on the wall. Nice sized hangers to hold even heavy coats. Rustic look should go with most interior designs. It looks much better when you see the actual item. The picture doesn't do it justice. We are pleased with it!

The item looks a lot cheaper in person. The hooks are spray painted and the wood is lightweight and flimsy. I bought this to coordinate with a similar rack that I already have but paid more than 2x for. After seeing the difference in quality I am very happy with what I paid for the other rack. I would have returned the item but traveled shortly after receiving it so my return window closed. What I am most disappointed in is that there are a LOT of other items from this seller that I have had my eye on and planned to purchase, but am now afraid to buy

I'm torn how to rate this product... STYLE I give it a 4.5! But QUALITY I give it a 2. I feel it is extremely overpriced for the quality of this...the wood is super lightweight, flimsy, and wouldn't hold much weight at all. BUT, it is super cute and is the exact look I was going for, and my husband reinforced it somehow where I can now hang stuff without worrying it will fall off the wall. Just very overpriced.

This is exactly the style of coat rack I was looking for. Overall, I think it is well made, but the wood is on the lighter side (i.e. not very dense). The way it is designed to be mounted is for it to be hung like a picture; there are two D-ring triangle hangers screwed into the back. I did not like this design because: (1) it does not allow the rack to sit flush against the wall and (2) thought it was rather weak considering a coat rack can have a lot of weight hanging from it. Instead, I removed those hangers altogether and placed a couple of screws behind three of the coat hangers. This did require me to remove those and re-install, but it was well worth it since the screw heads are hidden.

I had previously purchased this awhile back and wanted another one. I was lucky enough to find it on Amazon. Now my needs are perfectly met and I absolutely love the look in my home.

Great rustic design! I love the style of the hooks. We chose to drill screws through the wood directly into the wall rather than using the tiny hooks that come on it. It’s much sturdier this way.
