BIC Brite Liner Grip Highlighter, Chisel Tip, Yellow, 12-Count

For how inexpensive these little fellas are, they are bright for ages and take forever to dry out. The box includes 12, and the first one I used didn't run out for the entirety of the semester I bought them for despite almost daily use (light use, to be fair). I only had to move on to the second one when I lost the first. Extremely heavy daily use obviously will shorten the lifespan of each highlighter but overall I noticed a stark difference between this highlighter and others I have used in terms of longevity. The branding on the side of each highlighter began to fade after a few days of use, but honestly who really cares about that?Overall, I highly recommend these highlighters.

I have no complaints at all, it lasts long, worked well, does not smear at all and it even does not heavily bleed through the parchment-like paper of a Holy Bible. It can be seen through but does not bleed through - note the difference before calling me a liar LOL>

As a student, I swear by three essentials: Moleskine's Cahier Journals, Pentel R.S.V.P. pens, and these BIC Brite Liner highlighters.My brother (prior to graduating) needed highlighters during finals week and his school store only had these in stock, but the multi-colored option. Since he has never liked using any highlighter color other than yellow, he gave the rest to me. The colored ones were surprisingly great - not too ink, not too dark, not too obnoxious.I went through all 4 that he gave me and bought my own set but in classic yellow when I went to college. It is amazing, even 'til today. Highlighting textbooks (the ones with super thin pages) aren't a hassle because these are NOT like the Sharpie ones that smear and seep through pages. I could even read what I highlighted without getting an eyesore, and it lasts pretty well. Definitely will buy more.

These highlighters offer a nice bright, fluorescent yellow color. It does what it's supposed to do. It highlights. Highlighted text really stands out without being overly harsh. However, had I known, I probably would have opted for a more classic yellow (non-fluorescent) color. Still, the color is very nice.The grip is very nice and the cap clicks firmly in place.Five stars.

-Generally I prefer liquid highlighters with transparent barrels where you can see the amount of ink remaining (e.g., Sharpie Accents). Unfortunately, those products all seem to run dry pretty quickly.This product lasts substantially longer than those liquid highlighters, but because the barrel is not transparent, you can't tell how much liquid you have left. Because of that one problem, I'm rating it Four Stars, otherwise I would rate it Five Stars.The barrel is thin, with a comfortable rubber cushion for your fingers. Compared with other highlighters I've tried, the ink is brighter and bleeds less.Don't buy the larger barrel XL model, BIC® Brite Liner Grip XL Highlighter, Chisel Tip, Fluorscent Yellow Ink, 12/pack which is substantially thicker and difficult to hold and use.

I have been using Bic Brute Highlighters for a few years. They last longer than other brands and the color is brighter also. I am part of a Bible study group and use my highlighter every day. The things that I consider important are easy see so I don't have to search the entire reading for them. This highlighter lasts longer than most I have tried. I also give them to others in the group at Christmas. They make great gifts. I would recommend them to anyone who uses highlighters.

As a law student, I go through highlighters like candy. I have come to realize that all highlightes are NOT created equal. These are the best! They have a nice grip and are the easiest to use. I also like how they have a super bright color compared to other highlighters.
