Good Jerky
This jerky is well worth the money. 5 pounds of jerky is not as much as you may think, but keep in mind that it was originally like 10-15 pounds of meat before being dried out. $9 per pound of beef isn't too bad, especially considering it's a steal compared to Jack Link's or other big jerky companies that will charge you through the nose for tiny 1oz bags. I might be a terrible dieter but 1oz of anything simply isn't enough for the average adult. The taste is pretty solid. It's not the strongest teriyaki flavor, but it's not bad by any means. It is definitely salty though. I usually end up going through a couple of water bottles after a jerky binge. The nutritional info is on the packaging if you have a specific dietary restriction. The texture is, in my opinion, right where beef jerky should be. It's smack in the middle. It's soft enough that it's chewable, but tough enough that you will get a sore jaw after awhile. I actually consider that a plus, because otherwise the whole bag would be gone in a few days. It's a built in portion regulator for those of us with poor jerky impulse. The bag is not resealable, but you can easily transfer to Ziplocs or Tupperware for storage. 2 one gallon Ziplocs was enough to hold all 5 pounds of jerky. I'm not sure how long this jerky keeps (I imagine pretty long considering it's dried), but I stored mine in the fridge and had no decrease in texture or quality. You could probably stash it in there for months or maybe even years, provided you have no mold and a good amount of self control.Overall I am very pleased with this jerky and I plan to try some of their other flavors as well!

Good value
Good taste, a little tough but that's expected with jerky. Good overall value, I divided I up into bags and tossed into the freezer.

Slightly a step up from road kill
The jerky had gristle running through a lot of pieces. I was also skeptical about the packaging. I think some of the pieces still had marks on the, from where the jockey was hitting them. Lesson learned. Don’t buy cheap meat.

Nice Cuts
Definitely going to last awhile. I broke the five pounds up into five bags and froze four of them for future enjoyment. The teriyaki flavor is nice and tastes as teriyaki should. They have been cut to a nice edible size and makes it a convenient snack with little preparation needed to enjoy. Came well packaged and when opened smelled fresh and tasted fresh too. Very nice. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

Good flavored, well cured beef jerky
This is really good jerky in bulk. It's a little pricey purchasing this amount all at once, but the quality is very good.Only a few pieces per pound either contain serious amount of gristle and/or are cut with the grain making beef flavored bubblegum rather than good, chewy jerky. The flavors are excellent and the meat is well flavored and cured throughout. The variety of the flavors I have tried have not been disappointing. Each flavor I have tried has been distinctly good.I would suggest vacuum packing any jerky that sits waiting to be eaten; I have not seen any mold, but the recipe and jerky does not appear to be heavy on preservatives (a good thing). Thus, it is likely best to consume it quickly or store the unused portions properly.I would recommend this jerky to others if you can (1) justify the cost even when buying in such bulk, and (2) be able to store it properly once it's opened.

Pretty lame recipe but not the worst I've tried.
I know about this company because I once bought a bag of their jerky while up in Vermont and it was, well, "damn good". Really wish I remembered which flavor I got though. Whatever it was, it was not teriyaki.Teriyaki flavor Jerky always varies from brand to brand but I tend to always like it so I figured I couldn't miss with teriyaki flavor from these guys. Their teriyaki flavor is a unique one and I don't mean that in a good way. It tastes like a steak that someone went a bit overboard on the seasoning of. Despite the overpowering flavor it has very little staying power and no peppery heat (but this is understandable). Wife doesn't care for it either but, hey, at least it's a protein to snack on

Fair game
I was expecting the bag to be compressed, free from air like in the photo. It arrived to me on a hot summer day so the meat was heated. The flavor is not consistent but it worked out for me because sometimes the taste was overpowering. The texture was good, medium tough and varies from size of meat. For the price, this brand is one of few that offer in these sizes on Amazon so you can't complain. The bag didn't last 2 weeks because I had guests. I will be trying out original flavor next.
