It doesn't fit in Samsung S21+ USB C port
Just kinda wiggled around in the port, but never connected. And then you say to yourself "maybe if I push it in a little harder?" Why would I risk damage to my phone and push the device in HARDER into a port that works for EVERYTHING else? No. This goes back, this is defective. DON'T BUY.

Good value
The camera: really good value for its capabilities and image resolution. More expensive options from brands such as Flir have much fewer pixels and have an internal battery that requires charging. You do have to manually focus it (I didn't realize that at first) but once you do you probably won't have to adjust it again. One drawback is that the USB-C connection (at least in my phone) seems to easily lose its connection if the camera is bumped. I don't have a similar issue with USB-C charging cables plugged in to my phone. The app: it works, but could be improved by being able to rotate the screen when rotating the phone. Also whenever doing anything in the app that causes the camera to no longer be "active" (such as viewing previous captured images), the screen has random artifacts/pixels in the image when returning back to the camera mode. And, even though Fahrenheit is selected as the temperature unit the color scale bar still shows the temperature range in Celsius.

Good for the price
I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about buying the camera with no user reviews. I decided to go for it, and it arrived at my door today. I bought the camera to try to find the heating wire in my house's ceiling so we could adjust our lighting in a couple rooms. As you can probably guess, putting a screw through the heating element would be catastrophic. I set everything up on my phone and then flipped on the heat. The moment I pointed the thermal camera at the ceiling, the heading elements were visible. Hooray! I know doors and windows are also a source of heat leakage so I pointed it my front door. Looks like I need to replace the seal on the bottom of the door. :(The accompanying Android software is ok. While it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a FLIR brand camera, it is more than double the resolution and gets the job done. The app does seem a little buggy but I was able to use it to capture the images I attached to this review.

Worked for all of 2 hours and died
Would not recommend, I only bought this over Seek version because Amazon had a save $30 coupon clip but what a waste it was. It worked for all of 2 hours and from that point on the app would constantly freeze, randomly crash the device itself connects and disconnects from the phone constantly. At first I thought maybe it was my phone but I plugged my usb-c Seek thermal camera in and it works flawlessly so its not the phone. Sending it back and buying another Seek like I should have originally.

Not compatible with Samsung Galaxy A12
This could be a cool little thermal camera but it is NOT compatible with my Galaxy A12. The thermal camera app keeps saying "DATA ERR". I ordered a replacement CEM T-10 but the second camera did the exact same thing. I loaded up the Seek Thermal camera app and it worked a little better, at least it connected with the camera, but still unacceptable over all. Maybe the CEM T-10 works on other Android phones but not my Samsung Galaxy A12.

Works well most of the time
It has worked very well most of the time, though a few times it seems to have issue with connection. Unplug and plug back in and it works fine. Not sure if issue is with device or phone.

Not compatible with Samsung Galaxy S9
Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone isn't compatible. The app says to plug it in, but it's not recognized. Wishing this amazon listing had a compatibility list right about now.

Decent for the price
FLIR Pros are overpriced in India and go up to about 48k. This one has a similar resolution and can be bought at 34k.I had trouble getting it recognized with my phone, mainly because the USB-C port was dirty, works fine on a phone with clean, non corroded USB C contacts.Using it to measure component temperatures on a PCB, working well so far.4 Stars because software could be better. Make it even half as good as the FLIR app with all it's features and it should be good to compete. Also stop asking for location access.
