When the scissors that came with our knife set snapped after the bolt holding them together rushed through, I quickly realized most of the replacement scissors on Amazon were made in China and held together by the same kind of bolt. In fact most of them looked like they came from the same factory. I didn't want another pair like like that so I was really happy to find these which are made in Japan. They seem very well made and are easy to hold and sharp with good cutting action. They come apart easily for cleaning but stay together well the rest of the time. Nothing to rust through. Well worth the slightly extra price, and we are happy in this house not to have another price of Chinese junk.

I’ve purchased about a dozen kitchen shears over the years. I use them and abuse them until they no longer function as well as they used to (or my kids or girlfriend remove them from the kitchen and I never see them again). These are the best shears I have ever owned (I purchased the black handle straight pair). If I lost these I would order a new pair. Gone are the days of buying a fresh cheap pair at HomeGoods or Ross. These are better than all of the China 💩 that I was accustomed too. If you are on the fence or aren’t sure if these are worth a few extra bucks, just buy them, they are worth it.

I had a pair of take apart kitchen scissors for years that I had to replace because part of the handle broke. So, after reading the reviews, I got these. Mostly I use them for cutting open raw meat packaging so I can just throw them in the dishwasher. These cut great, pull apart great, and wash great... EXCEPT! The screw that holds on the interlocking mechanism is starting to rust (see picture). I've had them for less than six weeks and probably use them about 3x a week. It's mindboggling to me that a company would make such an awesome product and blow it on something as simple as the screw. If I can, I might try to take it out and replace it because the rest of the scissors are wonderful. And if that wasn't there, they'd be 5-stars without hesitation.

The perfect kitchen scissors. Everything about them is well designed and does a great job. Surprisingly lightweight but so sharp and easy to use. I had an old pair that separated in a similar way, but they would come apart when I would open them to cut for example a box open. These scissors need to open all the way to come apart so that problem is solved. Will buy again if ever needed.

There is nothing to dislike. I bought them for the kitchen, but using them all around the use after discovering hoe great they are. Just used them for cutting open some Aveeno lotion bottles to get to what Remains after the pump runs dry. Just perfect and I'm getting two more pairs!

We haven't had these that long but right out of the box they feel more sturdy and well made than most other kitchen sheers. They don't have a lot of bells and whistles like some other cheaper brands but I wanted something with more quality and that's what this feels like. It's easy to take apart and clean but doesn't accidentally come apart and it's sharp. The grip feels good, relatively thick and somewhat rubbery. All of the other kitchen sheers/scissors we've owned came with cheap knife sets and felt cheap. Not much else to say though

I don't know how anyone could write a negareview of these - they're simply the best kitchen shears on the market. Sturdy, comfortable and well-made - a steal for the price. I've spent waaaay more on others and been very disappointed. These CANARY Japanese Kitchen Shears outperform implements costing many times more. I cut up a whole chicken at least once a week, and these have completely replaced my so-called "bone scissors" (waste of money) as well as my very-expensive Global cleaver. With these shears I can make short work of the whole bird. Highly recommend.

かれこれ8年使っていてまだまだ使えるのですが、あまりに好きなので2本目も買いました。料理中、まな板を使うでもないネギを切ったり、しそなどの薬味を切ったりするのにも使うし、包丁よりも手軽に袋内で肉類をカットするのにも使いたいので2本目です。簡単に本体が、２つに分けれるので調理後は食洗機に入れて洗っています。これ以上でも以下でもないベストな調理ハサミです。これからも長く販売して欲しいです。

キッチンバサミを新調するために下記の点を吟味して購入しました。・切れ味がよい・分解して洗浄ができる・持ちやすいこちらのハサミはこれらを全て満たすハサミだと思います。特に持ち手が大きく手に馴染むような感覚があります。また、刃が持ち手に対して傾いているため左手に持ったものを切るのに適した形をしていると思います。一点気になるのは、刃の短さでしょうか。てこの原理で力が良くかかるため、とてもよく切れます。半面、当然長いものを一太刀で切るような用途には向いていません。料理ではそのような場面はあまりないかもしれませんが、用途に合わせて購入を検討する必要がありそうです。

年末のドタバタの中で、キッチンバサミが行方不明。ないと困るので翌日着で購入。選択理由は、使いやすさで評価が高く、見た目の可愛さ及びキッチン用品は赤を差し色にしているという三点。到着後、早速使ったが、普通のものより小さめのせいか手には馴染むが、使用に際して若干硬さを感じた。特に牛乳パックを切る時など、テコの原理で、今までのハサミより力を要する。刃を大幅に開くと簡単に分解でき、その間食洗機に入れているが、毎回ではなくても磨くことが必要かと思う。ちなみに行方不明の先代は、こちらハサミの使用開始直後、何故か冷蔵庫の上で発見…

1人者で、調理するにしても野菜は少ししか切らないので試してみました。随時ニンニクを入れるのですが、少ししか使わないのに包丁・まな板を出すのも洗うのも面倒だし、また○国産の国外品は粒が小さくて切りにくかったのですが、このハサミだとへた切り、皮むき等さくさく処理が出来て誠に便利です。高い国産品を買わなくて済むので何年か使えばこのハサミ代が回収できそうです。洗う際も簡単に外して洗えるので常に衛生的、切れ味も抜群で指を切らないよう気を使う程です、良い買い物をしました！
