Mountainsmith Vibe Lumbar Pack

I bought this because I wanted something well made and this certainly fits the bill. Seams are strong, material sturdy--probably the last pack I'd need. I wanted to love it. I'm a professional pet sitter/dog walker, so the main items I carry: my phone-which did not fit in the front zipper pocket, poop bags, biz cards, pepper spray. The biggest downfall was the too small front pocket. IF it had fit my phone easily, I probably would have kept the pack, even though I don't really need all the pockets inside the main compartment.

Well made as with all Mountainsmith products but not a lot of room. However might be interesting for CCW because not so obtrusive. Holds a compact Glock. Doesn’t mean it is so easily accessible in an emergency. There may be better options for all that. I use it for carrying cell, wallet keys, mace n a folding knife most of time. It has a couple of zip compartments and inside the large one, several sections to hold small objects. I do think that a fanny pack that is maybe 30% or so larger, with a third compartment, would be even better. But this might be just fine for you.

This is my second Mountainsmith Vibe Lumbar pack. The original one I bought 5 years ago and it has gone around the world with me, on many rock climbing, mountaineering, cave exploring and kayaking trips. It's lasted exceptionally well considering what I have put it through. In the photos, you can see my 5 year old pack and the new one. On most trips, I keep my Samsung Galaxy phone in the hip pack. I destroyed a number of phones on adventure trips until I purchased this hip pack. I recommend this to anyone who needs a long lasting, durable hip pack.

I have had a small fanny pack from black smith for many years. It is starting to show age but it stays unbreakable. I have been looking to have a newer version of the same and finally found it in Vibe. Small zipper fits my rfid wallet. The back pocket being large enough to carry a point and shoot camera, my iPhone, lipstick, pepper spray. I am truly happy. The old one didn’t have room for the camera so this is literally perfect. Great material as well.

This is my 3rd Mountainsmith Vibe Lumbar Pack. I love them but they only last 1 year before they need to be replaced. The zipper fails, making the pack useless. Please fix the weak link, "The zipper"!

I've used many other MS designs and was shocked when this pack arrived and it was so SMALL !Big enough for a cell phone and wallet/keys on a bike ride I guess, but not much elseFunny that they have made dividers and a key clip in it as if you have so much space you need to decide where things go, or that you might lose your keys at the bottom

I’m using right now at Disneyland. Very comfortable and big enough for my sunglasses, wallet, and iPhone 6. It is perfect to me. I like the pack because it’s small and not too obtrussive. It’s goid enogh to have my pockets empty. If it was too big it would probably flop around. I noticed in some of the reviews people were complaining about the flap that goes over the zipper. It’s no biggie. I just keep it folded back and the problem is solved. U don’t even notice the flap. Overall, this a good size, but if you like to keep more stuff in it besides what I described the. This would not be for you. Good for little trips or if you wear clothing where the pockets are restrictive.

Limited space but as it wears in the material should become more forgiving & make it easier to put things inside the bag. Have put a rubber band around the spare belt material to prevent it from slipping. Seems well constructed, durable and compact.

Él procuro es muy útil, te libera manos y bolsillos.Recomiendo modifiqjen la parte que cubre el cierre de la bolsa principal... es incómodo al abrir o cerrar.
