NubellsPT Complete Dumbells Set, 1-Pound/2-Pound/3-Pound/4-Pound, Orange

I love doing body pump by Les Mill. The Les Mill equipment can be quite costly and I do have a barbell set from them (5 yrs old). Noticed they have newer plates that look so much more comfortable to hold but I really do not want to pay that much to get them. Was looking around for alternatives and stumbled upon these. Love the fact you can get 4 pounds and 3 pound weights as i am pretty sure i will make the most of them during the bicep and tricep sessions with Les Mill. I don't see myself using the 1 pound or 2 pound weights as it is too light for me. Perhaps someone that has weak wrist might find them adaquate. I do agree with another review that if you are a man with large hands they might be too small for you. This should be okay for most women. Wish NubellsPT had option for 6 pound weights in this design/style... Otherwise a well worth purchased based on the price ad great addtion to my les mill work out equipment.

These weights are a bit uncomfortable to use. The plastic handle tends to get quite slippery if you are working up a sweat. Also, with all the other types of non-traditional weights that can be adjusted in total weight, this may not be the best option, as have individual weight total dumbbells are really only required when you have old technology metal weights. These could have easily been made to be the select-a-weight types. The good points for these are that they are well made, are almost exactly the weight they claim (according to my scale) and they store easy. Overall, I probably would not buy these again, but I am not unhappy I own them. If you get a good price, it may be worth buying if you will only need lighter weighted dumbbells.
