Wire Brush to Clean Threads
I read all the "won't thread in reviews" and figured it was no big deal. Threads matched on both parts. A pipe cleaning brush through the nut, and a quick cleaning of the bolt on the bench wire brush was all it took. Both sides threaded in with my fingers all the way.

Needs just a little help, but cheap and functional
As other mention, getting the left pin to thread in can be a problem. The threads were full of debris. I sprayed them out really well with brake cleaner. I then used my grinder to cut two grooves opposite of each other in one of the pins from the top to about 1/2 inch in, just slightly deeper than the threads to make the pin into a rudimentary tap. I threaded the pin in with a screwdriver through the lynch pin hole and worked it back and forth a little to clear the threads. It worked great and I didn’t have to fight with it much. The threaded portion of the pin is much longer than the threaded insert in the device so the small portion I cut the grooves into isn’t even contacting the threads once it is bottomed out. This still beats the retail products in price and the deliver was about a week better than other offerings on Amazon.

Good enough but not perfect
I used a bolt and pipe to power though the poor thread issue. One side ok the other side hard, I figured it was paint or weld splatter. Just took a bit more elbows grease. Should have read more reviews.I liked that it included adaptors for class 2 three point as my JD 1250 is a class 2 but Ford is class 1. Only problem that is comical as the mounting pins were shipped in the same bag is the sleeve adapter won’t fit the included pins. The ones I got from TSC fit just fine. See images.Typical made in china crap QC but I knew what I was buying so buyer beware. Not a problem for me but I can see how some are getting really bad threads. Not a big deal wrong sleeves sent but requested correct size from manufacture so we will see how good their customer service is. The unit was packaged well, no shipping damage (lost parts) and for $5-6 if you have a class 2 hitch you use them. I keep my set in an ammo can bolted to the fender with a big wrench, 2 lb hammer and spare sheer bolts for the bush hog.Would have given 5 stars if correct parts and treads were ok. It does what is supposed to do.

Pretty nice attachment
Works well and seems like it will hold up to the work I will put it through. The only thing I dislike is the vertical square tube is completely open at the top so if left outside in the rain or snow it would fill with water and accelerate rusting. As long as you don't let it remain outside it should be fine.

Excellent product.
I needed a 3 point receiver to move trailers on our ranch. Chose this one because of the one day shipping that turned into two days. Unit is well built. I had NO problems with installing the threaded pins into the framework. A little oil and both went in as easy as could be expected. I would recommend and would purchase again.

Can't beat it for the price, but it's going to need some work
Overall, you really can't beat this thing for the price. It came with a decent pin set too. The only negative was that the two lower pin threaded holes in the frame were loaded with shot/bead blast. The threads were damaged in one area, so I had to re-tap those threads. The threads were not deep enough to accept the pin, so the tap came in handy. Overall though, for the price I got this at, I can't really complain.

For the price don't hesitate to buy.
Just like everyone has said, the threads are filled with a bunch of crap but all I did before screwing in the stubs was PB Blast the threads and took a small wire brush to clean the threads. They cleaned up so nicely that I could spin the stubs all the way in by hand. For me there was no need for a tap to re tap the threads.

Yep, those threads are full of paint/welding spatter, but can be fixed.
Both the threads for the left and right pins are full of paint/welding spatter and really should be cleaned out by the manufacturer. Either order a tap along with this (size is M22 x 2.5), or take a bolt of the same size and cut perpendicularly through the threads with a cut off wheel on a Dremel etc. This will clean out the paint and welding spatter if you go slowly. I chose this hitch since the others all had negative reviews related to the receiver size being way too sloppy. This one seems about right, not too tight, not too loose. Good value if you take the time to clean the threads.

Very well built
This is very well built, Per other reviewers, there was paint on the inner threads - ran the male end of a battery terminal cleaner inside them for a few turns and the pins screwed in fine. This is exactly what I needed.

Does the job, no problem installing pins if threads cleaned
After reading the reviews that complained about the difficulty of screwing in the pins, I bought it anyway because of the good fit of the receiver. Based on another review I inspected the threaded holes, and just like him one had a lot of metal filing from the threading process. I held the frame vertically over a garbage can and cleaned out the threads with a metal brush. Hold the threads you are cleaning at the bottom so that they fall out and not back into the other side. After a good cleaning the pins screwed in just using my fingers and I just had to give them a final tighten using a 12" long 1/4' socket drive extension through the hole in the pin. I suspect that if the filings are not cleaned out it is causing the binding when the pin is screwed in.So to summarize after the threads where cleaned it went together easily and the receiver is indeed a good fit. Highly recommend, especially for the price.
