Im not sure what their intended purpose is, but I use them for digital sculpting with a tablet, the gloves keep your hands dry from sweat that would otherwise cause a choppy stroke. great gloves.

The "heads up". :Yes, they are soft, stretchy & comfy,BUT, they are short-ish; ending just ABOVE my wrist.My hands are average to small for an adult American woman.

Poorly stitched
The stitching on these gloves is white instead of black as pictured when I made the purchase. Also, the stitches are loose and already beginning to unravel while trying on. Not what I expected but they will suffice.
