Just Got It And It Works Great
Just received my tool and it's all I hoped for. Works great and is very sturdy. Highly recommend it for removing weeds quickly and efficiently. A hand saver.

It pries weeds out deep roots and all.
I've been trying to pull weeds out of my yard by hand because I don't want to use herbicides. But it seemed like a hopeless task. Deep rooted weeds would just break off at the top and then regrow again. I thought I might get some expensive complicated gizmo to do it. Then I saw this funny little tool. When I got it I liked that it is just one piece of cast metal. Nothing to break. But would it work? Yes. It is like a little pry bar for weeds. It grabs the top and pries weeds out of the ground deep roots and all. I'm very happy with it.

It gets the job done
The thing I like most about this weeder is that it's very easy to use. Not only is it sturdy, but it's light-weight, not to large but not to small. My 9 yr old can even use it. It makes getting rid of weeds so much easier since I have a lot of Thistles, and they're very hard to pull without this weeder. I would definitely buy from this seller again. I received it very promptly.

So good I bought a second one!
This is a very well made tool. It worked so well that and was so effective that I bought a second one for me because my wife claimed the first one as her own.

Not the best for clay soils
For sandy soils, this should be ok for the homeowner. Clay and very compact soils is where it struggles. For one, it lacks the edge and mass to push down and underneath denser packed and tough grassy weeds like poa annua and dallisgrass. Shallow broadleaf weeds are ok with it. I do like the cushiony grip, but the angle of the blade seems sort of clumsy. Where it falls short, my 1970’s wooden handled fork is better able to tough it out. Bottom line is that this is a light tool for loose soils and one or two weeds a summer.

Finally something that works
I think i bought all types of wee removal tools and didn't like how they would bend or take a hole out of my lawn. If you want something strong that will not bend and actually lift the root. This is for you.

Waste of Money
Absolutely useless. Couldn't get this tool to break through the dirt at all unless I used extreme force and then It didn't have the strength to get the root out of the ground.
