Crime Scene Photomacrographic Scale (No.2-Metric)

I purchased two of these - one in SAE one in metric - and the metric one has definitely been the better choice. I used these for personal use and both are high quality and very useful for taking photos of things where I need to communicate the dimensions -- for example, sending a photo to the vet of sore on our dog's leg. For things smaller than 1" (and for things medical, where metric is preferred), the metric scale is easier to see the x- and y-dimensions. Mine have held up well for quite some time, though I could imagine that the lettering might scrape off given enough abuse. I really like these.

Product was just what I needed, but I'm doubly glad I got this one after seeing the packaging. Perfect!(Note: I adhered a US version of this product front to back, so it changes the size shown in my picture.)

Great to add to photos of surgical wounds to document healing over time. Easily wiped down to keep clean.Writing stayed on so far. Dr. was impressed to have photos with scale to see progress.

I bought these metric scales to be able to photograph and measure animal tracks I came across on hiking trails. They are light weight, but made of sturdy plastic. They easily fit into a side pocket of my backpack.

Good, useful product, promptly delivered in perfect condition. However, on the reverse side of the scale was a wide adhesive label with the bar code and name of the product. This took a razor-scraper and two applications of Goo-Gone to remove. No damage to front of scale.

It’s a nice scale with sharp hashmarks that is great for close-up photography.

I had a wound that took a long time to heal. I took a picture every day or two to document the healing, and placed this scale next to the wound for the picture to show accurately how much the wound had changed each time I took the picture.

Used for pictures of smaller flora and fauna submitted to inaturalist.If only they made a much bigger one for ungulates and cryptids.
