Witcher Books Complete Set (8 Books)

Package arrived in great condition. This is the complete collection of Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher series, including Season of Storms.I saw some reviews cited the covers not matching the product description, but the copies I received ARE the original red covers as published by Orbit, as the photos show.The Witcher series tells the story of Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster hunter, and his adopted daughter Ciri. The two short story collections, The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny, are prequels to the novel series proper and contain great stories that new and old readers can easily enjoy. The subject matter of The Witcher is brutal and quite dark at times, including dark twists on classic fairy tales, and as such it may not be suitable for younger readers. All in all, I rate the entire collection 8.5/10 and highly recommend to readers of fantasy.

The contents of the book are amazing, I love the story. Highly recommend reading the books if you enjoyed the games or the Netflex series. However, I didn't realize that this set of book came with a big Netflix logo on the front that cannot be removed. Further some pages have the text printed at a slight angle. No words were missing or anything it just wasn't square on the page.

The books seem to be in good condition, but they did not come with the covers as advertised by the seller. I’m sure they’re the same books, but it seems a little deceiving. Don’t buy from them if you want a guarantee on what the covers will be.

Didn't get the cover that was advertised

These books came with the game covers. Now, they don't appear to be the same as the single copies nor the 3-pack boxed sets you can get at a bookstore. While they are the same covers, and I am sure the same content, they seem to be more compact and a different texture in the cover. It is more of a trade paperback size, whereas the same cover design books I can find at Books-A-Million seem larger (taller) and a bit more grainy on the cover feeling. I could be wrong, but they seem smaller and the pages seem thinner. I think this actually makes sense for how much more affordable they are.They don't come in a box, and I don't care about that. They were in plastic shrink wrap. They are in good condition. There is no missing ink or misprinted pages as far as I can tell. I had one page with a tiny tear, but maybe I somehow did that.I'm starting with Sword of Destiny since I read The Last Wish as a library book and then decided to get this set.There were no repeat titles nor titles missing.This is a quality product and a great bargain.I had no preference with either type of cover, I would not have cared if I got the new Netflix covers. However, the game covers still have Netflix logos on them, but I don't get books for their cover. I chose this seller because I sort of enjoy a game of chance. I wrote this review to say that, in my experience, you will get the game covers.Enjoying the story so far. Nice read for between studying and before bed.

Like a lot of people, my first introduction to The Witcher was Netflix and the video game series. I started reading Blood of Elves and was immediately hooked. So I got the set and breezed through a couple more of the books in just a couple of weeks. Definitely one of the more exciting and captivating series I’ve ever read.Only caveat is my book covers did not match the ones that are pictured. I prefer the alternate versions myself, but be aware this is a common complaint.Otherwise, the actual books themselves are great. Highly recommend for anyone who even remotely enjoys high fantasy adventure.

Yes the covers are not the same as advertised. But as I purchased the books to read not look at I am not remotely bothered. Great quality new books all included and much faster delivery than expected (Amazon still thinks there is a week to go before these are delivered but they arrived today). No there is no "box" to keep them in but like with the cover, it does not affect reading the books at all. The value is absolutely incredible! These books were much cheaper than any other seller or purchasing option yet are clearly brand new! Extremely satisfied.

I love this series. More than anything. And as a series itself I truly recommend this item and every single reader should experience this series in my honest opinion.Now. That being said I bought this box set to replace an old set lost in a nasty breakup and I have two issues.• Firstly this isn't a box set but all 8 books individually wrapped. Not a massive problem, but maybe not what some are looking for.• Secondly the annoying Netflix branding for the show of the same name is entirely unremovable. It's not a sticker, but part of the cover art, and this for me stops me giving the item five stars.However if that doesn't bother you. But this series. You won't be disappointed, especially if you're a fan of fantasy or well done world and building.

Not as advertised. New covers with the annoying "now on Netflix" branding. However I will say that order was packaged well and sent promptly and it's in English with the correct content

Different covers than advertised, I should've looked at the review comments. Wouldn't be an issue if there wasn't an obnoxious netflix stamp on everybook

Great choice to have bought this collection during the pandemic lockdown. I read through them in under 3 weeks! After the games and TV series, it was satisfying to get a bit more depth of knowledge of the lore of The Witcher, and the history of the world inside it.
