Posting this review after prolonged use. This is a worthy successor to my Nova Nova trimmer I was using earlier for trimming body hair and that had run its course. Bought this for its looks and its performance as per the reviews. Did not disappoint me at all and delivers on all fronts. PROS: - Lightweight and good looking; very ergonomic and easy to hold - Comes in a compact box; package includes 2 covers for the blade (with different dimensions for getting different length of trims), a cleaning brush to clean hair clinging to the trimmer, lubricating oil for the motor and a Type A to Type C charging cable (Type C goes into the trimmer and the other end can be connected to any phone charger ) - Charges quickly; indicator light turns green when fully charged (red when battery is low) - Makes very little noise when running - Lasts long enough for you to cover your bigger body parts in one charge and still be left with juice; I have run it for a max of 30 min one go so far and have been able to use it again before it required charging - Performance is good. Blades are really sharp and It trims all body hair very well. The head of the trimmer can be adjusted using the rotary dial to trim the hair very fine or very coarse as per your preference. CONS; - Not water-proof; but not expected to be waterproof at this price point - Not sharp enough to trim hard beards (might still work on the softer ones); but it is better suited for body hair; if you want a dedicated beard trimmer, you should explore other options. A good product at this price that justifies its purchase. Should you go for it? YES.

The build quality is fine. Nothing to rave about, but nothing to complain about either. However, the trimming is excellent! It gives you very even hair length. I have been using it every alternate day now for 3 weeks, and no complains so far. Very happy that I bought it. Three big reasons for that: 1. The barber/salon near my place always has a lot of customers. So, a trip for getting your hair/beard done takes around 1.5 hours as your turn will come after 2-3 customers This often resulted in me getting lazy and having untrimmed beard for 2-3 weeks. With this trimmer, I can do it myself at home. And since I use it every alternate day, I don't have to spend more than 5-10 minutes per sessionStorage. So, now I am much more presentable eery day. 2. I can trim it to any length I want,..and if not satisfied, trim it a tad more again. 3. Goes without saying, it is a very big plus during COVID situation. Pros: 1. The biggest plus will have to be the excellent trimming quality and fine precise controls. 2. Battery runtime seems to be good till now. Runs for 1.5 hrs as mentioned. In fact, I have had to charge it only thrice till now (about 3 weeks) 3. Charging time is pleasantly low. I didn't time it precisely, but it surely charges well under 2 hours. 4. Head is washable. 5. Can be used in cord-ed as well as cordless modes. 6. Doesn't heat up noticably. Cons: 1. Not a big one, but just for the sake of completeness, I feel there should be a better mechanism for detaching the head. A push button of some sorts. The current way is to apply sufficient pressure wth your thumb against the blade to click it open. With this approach, there is a slight risk of getting a cut on your fingers, if you are not careful. Also, I sometimes wonder whether applying a bit extra pressure might bend the blade. THis suspicion might be unfounded, but it is what it is. 2. The website to register your warranty has a medicore built. This along with the absence of information about service centres, or customer care numbers, inspire very little confidence about the after-purscase service. The makers should make that information more prominently available, because lack of it might be turning away a lot of potential buyers. Other than this small con, I think it is a great buy. Especially for the first time users like me.

I got this to get a haircut as my wife doesn't allow me to go to barber shop, fearing contacting Corona. Got the parcel in 3 days time in perfect condition. Machine and accessories were packed very well, felt very nice opening the package. Put the machine for charging and the charging got completed within an hour. Guess there was already some charge in the battery. I had some doubts with settings as 1 to 10 overlaps with 10 to 20. I called up customer care and the representative told me clearly that 1 to 10 is for small comb where as 10 to 20 is for bigger adaptor. He was very gentle and he invited me to call him for any doubt that I may have in future. Tried getting the hair cut myself standing in front of the mirror, it was getting difficult. Asked my wife and she got used to the machine in no time. Haircut was very smooth, unit doesn't make much noise nor gets heated. I didn't feel any pain either. Blade settings works perfect. I used the machine today morning to give a haircut to my son. All it took me was 20 minutes. Fantastic trimmer, so easy to use. I used the setting 15 to give a overall trim and used 10 for the back as well as sides. Only con is accessory comb should have been open ended as hair gets stuck in small comb for smaller settings. Also, opening the blade from the unit is a bit tough, a button to release lock to open blade would have been better. For the price paid, I can't ask for more. Perfect value for money.

I m writing this review after 2-4 months of usage..the machine is good(but not perfect) , the battery backup is good(depends on the amount of time u take for trimming) , cleaning is also easy( u have to apply more force than expected to open it which is quite scaring for the first time)..but there r few problems, 1st. Its not water proof or resistant so don't be careless with it. 2nd. The build quality of the combs u get in the box is not good , I bought it in lockdown and was able to cut my head hair 2-4 times only before the combs broke due to some reason I can't figure out (probably the motor vibrations or pressure) and the replacement of those combs aren't available in the market. 3rd. The blade isn't even throughout, after trimming I can feel some hair pointing out. 4th. Also there is no safety mechanism for preventing young boys (who r using a trimmer for the first time) from getting cut from the blade, if not using the comb with it.

The trimmer is good, battery back up is also good. Light weight and easy to use. This can be used with cord or cordless. Comes with 40 length settings, which is no use, we required a few settings. Charging indicator is there, the light turns green from red after fully charged. It comes with two combs, a brush, charging cable and a small quantity of lubricant. Surprisingly, it was not packed with amazon cover or any carton box. It came in the original box It came in the original box which was not sealed. Any one could have opened it. Luckily the first impression was untouched. It was not looking like someone might have opened it and used. Little disappointing, I could have gone through the reviews before purchasing, the product was Made in China. Overall its a good buy.

Does not work well

First of all thanks to Amazon for prompt delivery at this time of covid 19. I was searching for a good budget trimmer and did a little research comparing syska , phylips , mi and other trimmers but this one actually led the race by some good features so I took a chance and purchased it. It didn't let me down! Pros - 1. It can be used both when cahrged and when plugged in. There can be instances when you don't have any juice left in the cells and still you need to use it. Thus this feature comes handy and most of the trimmers in market doesn't support this . 2. The charfing time is 90 mins and I tested it. It does charge in 90 mins the light turns green from red when charged . 3. I had a due haircut due to lockdown and used this for a nice crew cut.....run time of the machine was 20-30 mins ...and it performed as it should. 4. The box has all the required accessories. The blade pare can be easily removed for a wash. 5.Amzon did parcel without any outer package hence saving on unnecessary waste .....as the trimmer box is strong enough Cons- 1. Although it says 1 year warranty but I've not heard of this company service center or customer care . 2. In question answer part I read it's a product of mumbai but unfortunately it's made in china .
