Fitness Alley The Sculpting Workout Bars/Body Toning Steel Bars

I was looking for a weighted bar to do a new Les Mills workout series I've become rather fond of. This one was not only one of the most reasonably priced, but also is very well constructed. The capped ends are fused to the bar, so they don't look like they'll come off or loosen through regular use. The padded handle/middle area is great for all kinds of workouts and I have not found that this makes the bar difficult to hold or too thick to handle (I'm a smallish 5-4 person). Over the past month or two, the padding also doesn't appear to be cracking or disintegrating in any way... I'm careful to only clean with gentle yoga mat wipes or gentle soap and water with a washcloth.Other bars that are more expensive will tell you that a Square end is necessary to keep the bar from rolling away. I use this bar on a hard surface floor and have never found rolling to be an issue. The textured rubber/plastic on the ends grips the floor plenty well and it's never slid across the wall while properly stored upright. When i'm ready to level up on weight, I'll come back to this brand.

Several months after rotator cuff surgery I needed to work on my shoulder and bicep strength. The 10 lb. was just the right weight for me, and this bar is very evenly weighted and comfortable to hold. It works very well! Also, it's a great beginner bar for my teenage daughter who is just beginning to start weight training workouts. I highly recommend this one!

Love these in our PT office. I've switched many patients over to using them over dumb bells. These bars are well made. The weight of each was hard to read since it's in small print on the ends. So we used a Sharpie to write the weight on the side of the end-cap. No biggie. Get these.

Use this bar for exercises to strength my back!

Excellent weighted bars. It comes in one heavy package - will need two people to carry it inside your home.
