Jane Packer's Flower Course: Easy techniques for fabulous flower arranging Hardcover – January 14, 2020

I am giving this book a 5 star review even though I returned it. It was well written with beautiful photos. The reason I returned it was due to the lack of basic bouquets and flowers (and Amazon packed it in a box causing it to get scuffs and corner dents). The flowers they used for design were ones that I can't just go buy or grow. It is more on the level of floral designer that has access to wholesale buying. I was wanting more basic instruction and inspiration for cottage style bouquets that I could make out of my garden.

Very pleased with this purchase and I’ve been implementing the suggestions A lot of fun exploring my creative side!!

Flower book is helpful

I have done Floral Design Institute classes and i am always looking to expand my knowledge. I got this book, after reading the reviews hoping it would teach me something new. It does not. The corsage and wiring flowers Info is so basic that I would have never gotten an idea how to do it by this book alone.If you like cottage, Dutch Masters, natural inspired design, this is NOT your book. The pictures are georgousely taken, but the style is not pleasing to my eye which is drawn toward those esthetics.

I was hoping this book would be informative with some good tips and cute arrangements. But most of the arrangements are sort of ugly and outdated. This book will likely sit on my shelf until I donate it. Oh well!
