Used for swimming laps and windsurfing
I love my H20s and I would buy them again. In fact, I may have to because mine are borked. I use them along with H20 amphibian (I'm not sure of the model, the one for iphones/nexus 1 that straps around your arm with black nylon all around). Anyway, I may consider next time the one without the mic and control because when I had issues with the control it made me want to throw things away. But when it isn't skipping everywhere through songs, and performing as expected, it is the most awesome thing in the world. Sometimes the arm ban would come loose, fall off, and pull on the cord. This would actually bend the mail end of the minijack which causes the contacts to be unreliable. Also, any dirt or water on the jack can change the impedance and make the controls either not function, or drive your audio player nuts. In the end 3 months later, one ear bud quit working along with the mic and controls. H20 will probably replace the headset, I haven't asked yet. I think next time I will just ditch the remote because most of the time when I am windsurfing or swimming laps, I don't want to interrupt myself by forwarding to the next song. If I have to I can do it from the touch screen. I also think I would get the pouch that is transparent all the way through, so I can easily hit the power button, and take pictures while in the pouch. I also drown my $600 N1 the second time I used the pouch, then learned how to pack it right so that the inner cord would not ride up on the lip causing a leak that can't be detected. The key to that is to insert the phone in the direction that keeps the inner cord stretched out. If it bundles up it can ride up under the lip as it's closing. You need to pack the enclosure like a parachute, expect to take your time. Be slow and cautious, take a couple of minutes. Having the tunes while swimming laps and windsurfing is often well worth the preparation. About my Nexus One, it dried out and eventually started working again. I still have an issue with the screen not waking up after calls, but at this point I can get a new N1 for 1/3 the price, and this one makes an awesome under water ogg media player.

Work in the wet but not for long
I've had these ear-buds for about 2 1/2 months and the left bud has become intermittent. I usually have my iphone in an arm holster with the extra cord in a pocket in the armband but I have used them with the phone in my front pants pocket a few times but not in jeans and not sitting down, only walking in loose shorts. The problem seems to be a broken wire right behind the connector plug. I've used them almost daily and have been caught in the rain a few times and these have worked fine both during and after getting wet, so the H2O function of these seems to work fine, but $48 for 2 1/2 months use is pretty steep. I've used much cheaper buds much longer under the same conditions (except the wet) with no problems. Also I haven't been able to take a phone call on my iphone while using these buds. I press the button to answer a call but no one can hear me. They also don't seem to be able to adjust the volume, only pause and play seem to work.UPDATE. Contacted the manufacturer as suggested in comments and the earbuds were promptly replaced. No problems so far with the new ones, but I only use them when there is a chance of getting wet, not daily like before.

worked for awhile
Hi. I ordered these for my wife as a present. She swims 3 times a week about an hour each time. She loved these to start with. She said they worked on and off, sometimes great and sometimes not so great. But worth keeping since she didn't have anything else. Lots of people saw her and asked her about them and she alwaysgave a positive review. Well, within 6mos. one side, the right, went dead. She thought ok, I can stilluse the other side. She does not like to complain. Well earlier this month the side that was working, went dead. Thewhole system is dead. She is bummed. I am not happy because they almost lasted a year but really, they should last a lotlonger. Is there anything we can do about this? I probably should have returned them within the first few months since they were not operating as they should but she didn't want to be without. She was hooked. She loves music and exercising. Do you have any suggestions for us. thanks.

Snug fit
I purchased these ear buds to go with my Lifeproof i-phone case. The earphones worked perfectly even while swimming laps.Just a word of warning, make sure you put the buds in before getting in the water. If you get water inside the buds, although waterproof, the water creates a barrier and makes it very hard to hear. Its not a defect of the product, its just the physics of sound :)I'm happy with the headphones but I can't really use them anymore since I returned my Lifeproof i-phone case.

Just what I needed
Have had other brands of headphones that claim to deliver great sound while enduring harsh environments. None of them have worked as well as this one. Have had it in the pool, running in a rain storm, along trails, and it has not only met but has exceeded my expectations.Earbuds are comfortable and stay put. Sound is great and the mic works flawlessly. I am confident when I get this system wet that it will continue to work well.If you are active and use your phone/music player in harsh conditions - this is the product for you.

Had to resell them
Didn't work for my Iphone 4s to take calls with them on, I was hoping I could go running and listening to my favorite music and take calls with them without the need to take my phone off my armband and taking off the earbuds. Had to sell them to a friend who doesn't have an Iphone, because with mine they didn't work for what I expected them to.

Surprisingly Very Good
I got a Lifeproof iPhone case and wanted to listen to music while swimming, so I bought these headphones. My case leaked so I haven't tried it out underwater, but I use them while playing basketball and they don't fall out. They stay in with good music quality and are comfortable. Very impressed with the waterproof headphones

Good for what they are for... Water!
They sound best when fully submerged (the sensation is great to have tunes in your ears when you are getting wet for whatever reason). I wish the answer/hang up function also included volume and and track function but I guess that's asking a little too much, maybe a later version?! Overall, good for what they are meant for.
