Picking up on various comments elsewhere, my genuine user experience as follows: using 3 or 4 in the dryer makes a little extra noise, but it is not a problem; definitely have noticed towels feel softer, perhaps other items as well; have not experienced any significant extra ‘fluff’ in the dryer filters; drying times certainly seem to have shortened, but without conducting exact comparison tests I cannot say with certainty - but I would err on the side of saying ‘yes’ to them making drying quicker which equals saving money! So on balance and I think over time, given these balls are not cheap, I will end up saving money - and already enjoy softer towels!

I’m forever forgetting to empty the washing machine and end up with very rumpled washing that not even my tumble dryer can sort out for me. I gave these a go, seriously thinking wouldn’t make any difference. I’m not often wrong, but, I was wrong again about these magical balls! Not only did they get out the offending creases, but they reduced the drying time by about 1/3! So they’re not only an ironing preventative but also a Cost of Living helping hand too 🥰

Bought to try to dry clothes a little quicker . Does seem to work a very small amount quicker.

I tested on fully loaded Beko sensor drying machine. Program set at extra dry. Start predited 2hours 55 mins but adjusted down with those 6 balls installed by 44 mins. I twice more with different clothes types and same result. As the below is sensor drying it will adjust automatically. So any manual tumble dryer you'd reduce the normal time set yourself. I like the material of the product and no melting issues as with plastic products. Happy with these so far.

Love these. I have three kids and four dogs, so lots of laundry. I live in Scotland where it rains a lot, so I depend on my dryer and went through a lot of dryer sheets. I have had dryer balls before but they were too noisy. These are brilliant as they are quiet, I have noticed a reduced time in drying also. The clothes are lovely and soft and crease free when they come out. I would recommend these dryer balls.

I’m trying to be more eco friendly so have started using an eco-egg for washing my clothes. This doesn’t use fabric softener so thought I’d buy these dryer balls too. They do leave clothes slightly softer than without using them, also cuts down the amount of time in the dryer, especially the towels. Good value and will continue to use

These really help my washing to be dry much more quickly. They were especially handy when I had a washer-dryer which was pretty hopeless at getting clothes dry in any reasonable time but with these added in it was actually possible. Still cut down time in my separate dryer and also great for preventing everything from getting caught inside bedsheets in the dryer.
