7 boiled eggs in 12 minutes.
Great little item. Well made and easy to operate. 7 boiled eggs, 2 poached eggs or a small omlette are the options but I've used it to do beans on occasion too. Definitely need a bit of oil in the egg containers to prevent sticking (one cal spray).

Game changer!
Just pop the required number of eggs onto the rack, add the correct amount of water, put the lid on , press start. This nifty little machine switches off automatically and then enjoy your eggs. I had about 3 occasions of walking away from eggs boiling in a pan and forgetting all about them. Never again ! This really does what it promises.

Handy egg cooker
I like the multifunctional features of this egg cooker but even with the instructions, you do need to experiment a few times to get the cook just right. Also there isn’t a bell or tone to tell you when the cooking is completed- you just watch the light go out.

Not quite as described
Firstly, this does not have the audible beep as advertised, when the eggs are ready. I found this annoying as it means you have to watch the light to know when the eggs are ready. Otherwise you'll need to set a seperate timer for the eggs.Secondly, the measuring cup is pretty well useless. There's only marks for soft medium or hard regardless of the number of eggs you're trying to boil. Some people in the reviews mention that it's the same setting whatever the number of eggs but that's not correct. The more eggs , the less water needed for the same egg softness/hardness. For example, to soft boil two eggs you need to fill the measuring cup roughly half way between the medium and hard marks. You'll probably spoil a few eggs before you get the settings right, but the thing will work fine once you work it out; just don't depend on the meaningless measuring cup levels.Regarding the reviews about melting plastic parts, I suspect people are not putting the egg tray under the omelette or poaching cups to raise them above the heating plate before use. If any plastic is resting directly on the heating plate it will obviously melt.

Stopped working after 2 months
RubbishIt arrived one plastic item broken it was the handle part on the omelette maker so I let it go however regretting that, after 2 months its stopped working, it no longer switches on.I now have to go through the hassle of getting refund from the manufacturer as the Amazon return window has closed.
