Decaffeinated English Breakfast Tea

My husband and I use only decaf tea bags. I had been ordering the Bigelow Decaf English Breakfast Tea from Amazon for a long time, but recently it seems as though they've discontinued it. I reviewed it a good while ago and gave it 4-stars as we were still searching for a 5-star decaf tea. So, needing to order tea, I checked out the reviews for some other brands of decaf and I liked what I read about Twinings English Breakfast Decaf Tea. I decided to try it and am so glad I did. We really like it much better than Bigelow. It's much smoother and has more tea flavor; even if you steep it for ten minutes it doesn't get a bitter or off-taste. Also, it's excellent with lemon which is a must for me. My husband and I agree that this is as close to a 5-star decaf tea that you can get. Most of the decaf teas are awful, but this is delicious. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good decaf tea. I just hope Amazon keeps selling it. It's well worth the price, and I'm signing up for Subscribe & Save to save even more.

I am an avid tea drinker with discerning taste. Due to health reasons I had to cut the caffeine in my diet. I drank Lipton decaf for a while, but found it weak, lacking in aroma and unpalatable. I also tried Tetley and Kroger brands of decaf tea and found the same result. Then one day I saw Twining's on the store shelf. It was more expensive; but as I say, I'm a tea drinker. So I bought it, tried it and have never looked back. It is not widely available where I live, so I looked here on Amazon. Not only is it available here, it is shipped to my door every two or three months at my specifications without having to reorder. If you love/like tea and are on a caffeine restricted diet, don't hesitate--just start your subscription and enjoy fragrant, delicious tea again. (You may want to buy a box at your local store to try it out first.) Note: if you like your tea strong like I do, steep for five minutes.

I have known that Twinings sells English Breakfast Tea, Decaffeinated. I didn't know until I went to the search at Amazon.com. Since I havea already known that the taste is great, and doesn't keep me awake, and doesn't hurt my stomach. I immediately started to subscribe this product with 6 boxes every month. Now I can taste a great English-like sensation all the day. I drink tea 5-6 times a day. Now I can drink even at night before I go to sleep. It doesn't affect my sleep and doesn't give me stomach pain at all. I also subscribed Earl Gray tea, Decaffeinated. I am going to send some to my relatives and friends in Japan. They love Twinings, but Decaffeinated one is not in the market yet. The price is also very reasonable. I hope Amazon will decrease the price of Twinings Irish Breakfast tea, Decaffeinated. I am checking the price every day. I will probabaly addict to this product shortly, I'm afraid. Many thanks for Amazon!

This is a top quality products and if you have to have decaffeinated (I cannot have caffeine after 12 noon) since I am a terrible sleeper so this is the way to go. it is super delicious, and i only drink black tea.

This is a moderately flavorful black decaf tea. It's a good alternative to most decaf or herbal teas, but it's not the strong or robust a flavor that I would expect from a traditional black tea. I'm a heavy tea drinker who had to drastically cut back on caffeine. I've had difficulty, but having Twinings Irish Breakfast Decaf and Twinings English Breakfast teas to alternate with PG Decaf has made it possible. Other decaf teas I've tried can't stand up to these three.

Due to some health issues, I have had to cut out caffeine. I love ice tea and have been using this to make iced tea. Flavor isn't any different than regular caffeinated tea and I am excited to have decaffeinated choices.
