But there are some particles between the plate and plastic and the top left latch does not catch. Does not fall out. One huge bonus is that the Silver faceplate color is not gloss, little if any fingerprints.

Good product with slight issues. Had to shave the holes for the buttons a small bit since it was molded a bit small. And the screen has a bit of over spray that makes a small port of the screen blurry.

Fits the game but don’t stay on for long. Pops off after about forty-five minutes of playing.

Ok so I read the reviews and decided to try one out and was not disappointed. I received mine in good packaging and on time. 1st off, it did need a little alteration around the A button. Used scissors to fix without damaging the faceplate. Screen fits as it should. Not as clear as the original Nintendo faceplate, but when on the system it's a far better replacement if you have eye catching scratches on your on your old one. It does have a little line from back coating doesn't really show when on( might be able to take it off with nail polish remover ). Screen doesn't really match up to the original in viewing size but doesn't really affect it's play. Overall, if you don't have high expectations, this a decent option. Photos are of the silver screen purchased compared to the old original black one.

My only real issue with that the translucent portion of this cover is not what I would consider very transparent. Thought when I received the item it had a screen protector on it that might need to be removed. This was not the case seems like when they added the silver color to the exterior of the faceplate it discolored the viewing area. I invite the seller to replace the item I received. Until then I would not recommend this item to anyone.

Aside from a minor defect on the clear part of the acrylic where the screen is viewable, this fits as an original part, and works quite nicely. The quality, otherwise, seems good and it does it's job.

Screen was slightly scuffed from the inside when I removed the plastic cover.

Listen to the 1 star reviews. All of the complaints I've read about were accurate, and I'm disappointed for not believing them. The viewing area had a plastic sheet that protected it from some frosting application on the backside, but it only protected it from half of the coating. There is a smear of frosting on the right 1/3 of the screen which I attempted to remove using some rubbing alcohol, with little success. Upon placing the faceplate onto my Gameboy Micro, I found that the A button remained pressed, because the hole for the A button was not correctly sized. I tried to carve it out a bit but the A button still wouldn't fit correctly. Finally, the view screen area is obscured around the edges because the paint on the front encroaches on the edges of the screen, making it feel like you have to peer down into the screen because the edges are all covered by a millimeter of paint. Sadly, there seem to be few choices for replacement screens, but I do not recommend risking the chance that you might be one of the "lucky" ones who might get a non defective product. The product was shipped on time, but when the product is as disappointing as many others have stated, what is the point really? I am immediately returning this faceplate.

Like many others have said, these faceplates have varnish issues and when installed, the A button gets stuck in the pressed position and will not pop back up. Bought one skeptically hoping it was maybe a bad batch, but nope, unfortunately my luck was the same as everyone else. the plastic does feel reasonably sturdy but for the screen blur/sizing and button issue, I ended up returning it. If the screen sizing and blurring issue did not exist, I wouldve kept it and modified the button hole size. For the cost though, it wasnt worth it. Trying my luck with another manufacturing company nd hoping for better.

The fit and quality is extremely poor. Does not fit correctly. The A button hole is too small, and the screen is cloudy and imperfect. 0/10.

Me vino con la pantalla un poco mas chica que la del gameboy micro y ademas me viene la pantalla manchada de pintura gris del mismo color que del plástico de una esquina... Fuera de eso, el plástico se siente muy resistente, por eso le puse 3 estrellas

La vitre arrive couverte d'un vernis. Ce vernis est si épais qu'on voit flou au travers. De plus, il y a des coulisses dans ce dit vernis.C'est bin ordinaire.

La qualité n'est pas terrible par rapport à la coque officielle. Le vernis est trop épais et du coup, on sent la différence
