All Michael Crawford fans must have this! Its hilarious! I can't imagine how he survived this series withiut breaking his neck! Frank Spencer is the ultimate lovable disaster!

If you think only of the Phantom, when you think of Michael Crawford, you are in for a great & wonderful surprise!

In the mid seventies, in the majority of school playgrounds, Frank Spencer was a sensation. It might have had something to do with it being quite innovative. There had been funny men before, we would watch the old reruns of Laurel and Hardy. But fo it's time there something quite revolutionary about Frank Spencer. A lot of adults found him quite funny, but for us kids by god he so funny.In more modern times, Mr. Bean is quite good and reasonably funny, but you think oh well Frank Spencer got there before.Watching as an adult is an odd experience. You find a lot of it mildly funny rather than hilarious like you did as a kid. I buy it for younger family members now, in the hope that they can enjoy as much as I did when I was there age. I wonder if as an adult I have got too sophisticated in my humour now.

brilliant actor and great stunt work michael makes me laugh so much as frank the hapless husband of betty. they should do a one off episode with maranda heart as a grown up jessica . maranda heart and michael together causing havac that would be funny.

Very fast delivery and such a bargain for all 3 seasons plus the Christmas specials. Classic programme, a delight to add to my collection.

Love Some Mother's. It ages well too as my children enjoy watching this too. Can't get over how skinny everyone was in those days! Raymond Allen's a great writer and he had a well-deserved hit with this series. Buy it!

First, this series is ridiculously hilarious. The predicaments Frank gets himself and others into are so insane, one cannot help but laugh. However, if you're thinking of buying a copy for someone without a Region 2 player, the "all regions" Region 0 is misleading. Maybe it's the PAL format, which isn't printed on the DVD itself. Whatever it is, I bought this for my nephew, but it won't work on his Region 1 player or on his PS2. Otherwise, this is a fun show that can be enjoyed by all members of the family.
