How to Make Silver Charms from Metal Clay

My two passions combined - making small (clay) things and collecting small (charm) things. Now I can see how easy it is to make just about any silver charm I'd like to have, even with no silversmithing experience, those bracelets are going to be spectacular. Good clear, easy instructions and beautiful pictures.

Good little book and one worth having as a reference, some it is was a bit 'obvious' and a bit 'the same again' not quite as exciting as I expected or hoped for.

A good detailed book

I had this book from the Library and liked it so much I bought this copy. There are a lot of little hints that are handy for learner and experienced. I also bought a copy for one of my girlfriends as I knew she would enjoy it too.

Herzen gibt es eine schönen Anleitung, die sich auch auf andere Sachen sehr leicht übertragen lässt. Am Ende des Buches gibt es ein Kapitel über Material und grundsätzliche Verarbeitung von Silver Clay. Das Buch ist übersichtlich gestaltet und enthält sehr viele Abbildungen.

Great book with wonderful ideas and clear instructions. Gives great start to finish instructions, with photos. I bought this so my mother could come and learn about metal clay. The book presents coherent, and logical instructions about the use and care of tools, silver clay, and basic techniques . The pieces are small so someone new to clay or simply in a hurry can make a charm to give or wear in a very short period of time. Easy to understand firing instructions and firing schedules for both torch or stove. Defiantly a book to keep in your library. Projects are easily adapted to make earrings pendants, ect , depending on your preference.

I found this a gem of a book. Many great techniques were tucked into the various charm lessons.
