I bought this lap desk as a temporary solution while I waited for my large office desk to arrive.What prompted me to buy it: It had a similar description (except for the wood finish) to other items that had 4+ star ratings, and there was a promotional coupon which allowed me to get the desk for approximately $30. With the ability to return Amazon orders to Kohl's, I thought it was worth the risk.The Good: The desk is very solidly built. It is very attractive and one would think you spent more than just $30 on it. The desk top is split, which allows your laptop (or book) to be elevated while the mouse area remains flat. I saw on several other desks at which I looked, the mouse not being flat is a design flaw that this desk apparently addresses. Another positive about the mouse area is that it already has a mouse pad. This helps prevent your mouse from slipping off. The side that adjusts has three different settings to adjust the elevation, which is nice.The Bad: I am not exactly a delicate flower, so the desk size is a little small on my lap (I have maybe a half inch on either side of my legs). The legs can collapse out from under the desk, so it would be nice if they had some kind of locking mechanism to prevent it from occurring. The desk has a small drawer which would be nice, except it's really too small to hold much. It is not deep enough to hold my mouse when not in use; though it could be used to keep pencils, pens, etc. if it is being used more as a writing desk than a laptop desk. The desk is not exactly light-weight, so keep that in mind if you have physical limitations.The Ugly: Really, nothing I can think of that would be classified as ugly.I am still trying to figure out what I am going to do regarding my power cable and mouse cord, as they are not ideal with this desk set-up, but that has nothing to do with the desk and more to do with laptop design. I would recommend a wireless mouse for that very reason and will be switching out my mouse as soon as possible.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. While I will only be using it for another week or so, I will be sharing it with my children who will be doing their schoolwork from home during the COVID-19 Social Distancing period.I hope this review helps you make a decision on whether to take a chance on this desk. I have been working from home to 5 months now, due to the pandemic. With no room in my house for a desk, I have been relegated to working at my dining room table. I purchased this on a whim when distractions caused me to go to my room and work while sitting on my bed. It was nice working in a different atmosphere, but balancing my laptop on my lap was awful. I ordered this on a Thursday, shipping said it would arrive the following Tuesday but it arrived on my doorstep the next day (Friday)! Since then I have used it every day and cannot figure out why I didn't think to order something like this sooner. Its very sturdy - I would not call it lightweight, but its not heavy enough to cause limitations. The mouse pad is surprisingly very helpful, and I love the little drawer - perfect for storing pens, and my headphones for quick and easy access. I also love using the tilt option when I am working at my dining room table - it takes less strain off of my neck by raising the computer screen. The best thing is that when I am done working for the day instead of breaking my computer station down and packing it up, I pick up the lap desk with my computer and work stuff on it and slid it under my bed. This has truly improved my work from home life and I highly recommend this to anyone in a similar situation.

Works great for setting my laptop on and working on my bed or couch. I have a 15.5" alienware and it fits fine in the normal position. Works tilted up as well, slight overhang of my laptop doesn't interfere with desk. I have a wireless mouse, mouse pad works great with it. No issues. The side box is indeed small, like you can't fit a small wireless mouse in it. But you can fit pens, pencils well enough; it's maybe an inch or so deep and only like 4-5 inches long. Worked great of out box. Reason it's not 5 stars is it came scratched on surface, makes it look like hair is stuck in it...but whatev, it doesn't interfere with me using the desk. Easy to clean too. Great for eating off of, coloring on, and using for laptops/tablets. Phone holder also works for my Samsung S8 with its wallet case on and folded back.The legs! To clarify yes, they don't "lock" into place, but they only extend out so far. It's not like wobbly and the legs are going to just kick out. But if you're maneuvering a lot with it, yes the legs can fold back inwards on themselves, but why would you be rough housing with a lap desk?....Would buy again!

Recently with all this COVID-19 mess I’ve had to work from home and I had no space to buy a traditional computer desk. I found this lifesaver on amazon and ordered it. I was hesitant because there weren’t many reviews but ultimately it was a game changer for me. If you’re working from home right now this is great if you’re sitting up in your bed, or even slouched down a little! I also use this on the couch too. I love that it has adjustable heights so I can angle my laptop comfortably. The mouse pad area is great too! Saved me on buying a mouse pad. I love the slots for a tablet and my phone, both with holes to accommodate my chargers. There is a small drawer for small items where I keep my pens, a sticky notepad and a usb drive. This little table really is a gem! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish the legs on this table had a locking mechanism; if I move, the legs can shift from outwards to straight up, to falling over. If you come up with a way to lock the legs, please let me know so I can buy a 2nd!

I went by the positive reviews and ended up getting a product that wasn’t well finished at all after waiting for it close to a month!This was the second wooden stand I ordered and have had bad experiences with both.It’s not a terrible product, but definitely not worth what we’re paying for it. I can say that the finishing was very poor, table legs are not even and sturdy. It’s rickety rockety and had balancing issues.In all, I would recommend going with a non wooden stand.

may be this will save some of your money.1. Product quality is not good :- edge are very sharp and can hurt sometime, which should be rounded or smooth.2. Grooves shown in picture has plastic cover but not in actual product. Also too small for Tabs .3. Legs are not is perfect symmetry. no lock for legs.4. joint could have been better ,Overall 2000+ Rs price does not get justified.

I have the same table from same brand from US, so I ordered this for my brother in India.I am really disappointed, the quality and the finish of the product does not even match with what I have in US.The product took more than a month to deliver, and after seeing the product, I can understand that the table was made only after I have ordered.It has very bad finish, it is not smoother, the mouse pad is poor.The holder for mobile or iPad does not fit any phone or iPad.Worst of all, it has hand prints on the top, may be there because of the newly added paint.Above all, the paint smell is also there.Please do not buy, I raising a return, as this is a duplicate product.

I bought this product and had to wait for almost a 15-20 days for delivery. Unfortunately after such long wait, now I am very disappointed with my decision.Built of the product is very poor. The wood quality and polish is below par. Even simple things like hinges and screws have started falling apart in less than one month usage.There are multiple flaws in the design too. The height is inadequate to fit above things comfortably. The legs are too woobly and do not give you steadfast support. The support for table incline is also quiet unreliable.All in all, completely avoidable if u are looking for a quality product.

I never use to write any reviews of the product because I am satisfied whatever received from amazon.So far this time was my first ever worst experience and highly disappointed from these seller and product.The product I received was not at all of good quality and returned back as soon as I opened the box with in 10 minutes. The product had a very worst finishing all over the edges very sharp and rough. The slots for tablet and mobile are also very rough and uneven of shape. Feels like if I keep the gadgets in that slot then my gadgets body will be damaged and have scratches on it. The support stand was also really bad that i kept for 5 minutes on bed and I show the debris coming out from the table.I request to please check the reviews to buy any products from these seller. Not a worth to buy.
