Wonderful tool for Cameo 4!!!
A++++ seller. Seller went above and beyond to make sure I could use this tool with my Cameo 4. It works perfectly all on its own. It does require some practice to fine tune the settings, but it will etch acrylic, metal, etc. without issues and does a beautiful job. I'm so happy to have found this wonderful tool! Thank you!!!

Fits perfectly
Fits my Cameo 4 perfectly and it’s not an issue at all swapping out blades. It etches very well and I’ve had no issues!

Great for thin material!
Be sure to prop up your cutting board so it stays flat entering and exiting the machine. Also check height before new material is added. This was a great addition before I started laser engraving. Thanks!

Watch your material height
I like the fact that it is a carbide and heavy-duty steel pen however you must watch the material height you are using anyting thicker than 2 mil you must raise the pen from the holder as it will jam and scrape the unit and possibly damage your machine if fully seated. In addition make sure in your initial software that you copy the pattern of whatever it is and shift it ever so slightly over to the left right top or bottom that way it gets everything and there are no lines

Beautiful tool
Beautiful tool, pefectely machined. Made in the USA, yeah! I placed it in my Silhouette Cameo 4's tool holder just a bit higher to engrave on stainless steel credit card sized bottle openers. They came out beautiful.

Bought this to do some engraving on our yearly fantasy football trophy and after messing with the settings for a bit worked great!

It is NOT working correctly with my Cameo 4
I tried several times yesterday to get this to work. I have used the other engraving tool made by this company many times before in my Cameo 2, AND in my Cameo 4 with an adapter, so I felt confident that I know which settings work. Well, to start as you can see in the first image, the device will not sit in the carrier low enough for the clamps to sit in the right place which would secure it correctly. However, it did not seem to budge after locking it, so I figured I would give it a try. As you can see in the second and third image, my tag is in the correct place for when I designed it to engrave in the software. Three times I tried to get it to work, and as shown in the second image it is engraving completely off the tag ruining my mat. I really wanted to have a tip that is more fine point for more intricate designs, and even though this one has that tip and is supposedly designed ESPECIALLY for the Cameo 4, it is NOT working for me.
