Purchasing this has proven to be a total waste of money as I've now had a non-functioning device for a full month now and neither the 2 year manufacturers warranty, or the 2 years of additional protection I purchased, or Amazons in house "support" services have been of any use....Its a misrepresentation of the warranty that was claimed to have come with the device, as well as a misrepresentation of the protection plan...You would think a company the size of Amazon would be above resorting to unveiled consumer fraud in order to boost profits, but you'd be wrong, just like I was... This is a total and complete scam, don't waste your money.... in addition to the 2 year manufacturers warranty that supposedly came with the phone have been completely useless in doing the only function of both, which is to ensure that the device purchased is covered in the event of its failure... I have in the past recommended Amazons insurance options to many people, and after this likely will not purchase or recommend these useless "protection" plans at all..

This was the best money I’ve spent on a protection plan the process was hassle free and received a credit within three business days.

Easy and quick action

I have not had occasion to make a claim on this smartphone insurance policy so have no reason to doubt its integrity. Unfortunately, the smartphone it is covering DOES have integrity issues. As a vision-impaired customer whose lack of depth perception makes it difficult to aim/connect with small keys on the cell phone keyboard, I depend on wider keys that are present (SHOULD BE PRESENT) when the phone is rotated into landscape orientation for composition of text messages and emails. The Lively "Jitterbug 3" has a DESIGN FLAW that prevents J3 from change to landscape keyboard & content when rotated (stays portrait-size small) Hours spent on phone (with conscientious Lively customer service reps) and in person (at Best Buy with retail sales rep) proved our attempts to "fix" the malfunctioning Text Message rotation issue on my just-purchased phone to be an undisclosed, UNFIXABLE model-wide Jitterbug 3 DESIGN FLAW. Highly disappointing! A real Bummer! I expected better of Lively and its commitment to Seniors.

I had purchased my father a phone, that he quickly dropped breaking the microphone. Asurion responded promptly and refunded my money for the phone. Thank you for the wonderful service!

I have trusted Asurion for phone warranty. I never had a problem with claims with my other phones when I was with ATT.
