Not for kids....can easily burn yourself.....but for emergency lighting and using your brain....they are perfectly safe and work well....good craftsmanship...works as it should

This is price perfect solution for my summer bugs!I have ignored all the fuel use warnings and use citronella oil with great success!They look great and keep the bugs at bay for an amazing price!If you want to just follow the warnings, you will be even more pleased!

One of these These “half sized” lanterns came broken On delivery, with a paper insert In The Box saying that they have been known to have a runaway fires cautioed not to use indoors.

They say not to use an oil with a flash point below or above 124-150 degrees. When I purchased the lamps the add for Shannon’s paraffin oil came up so I bought that oil. After further research it has a flash point between 180 and 200. I tested it outside in a controlled environment. If you’re not an absolute mongoloid they work great. If you don’t know how to think critically or judge when something is getting out of hand then this product is not for you Karen

I bought these to use the as a gift for some people coming to my 50 year old party. We lightem up at dusk and to add hunting camp embient. As the people were living they could take home the one on their table. I was afraid of leakage and probably get the tablecloths on fire so I test them before and had no issues just worked perfectly. Be sure you don't overfill them (you never should anyway) Thrust me these worked great for me.
