I gave this gun lube a try based on some great recommendations from friends! They were right it’s great stuff! Then I realized it was made right here where I live in Utah and was happy I chose to support a business that makes its products right here with American materials and workers!

instant slickness, a little goes a long way,very little odor, not runny. But have only recently started using it and time will tell.

I guess if you learn to clean a gun with your Pa under the persimmon tree, you get used to the stink and you find it comforting and nostalgic. But to me it's a toxic smell and I say we can do better. Enter this amazing stuff. It gets the job done and avoids the stink. Five stars.

The best thing I can say about this lubricant is that it's non-toxic. It lubricates very well. Highly recommend.

Although many other reviewers have already said it, I too am going to repeat it: this is NOT as good as real CLP and you will most likely go through it faster as you will need to use more of it. With that in mind though, having personally used actual, toxic, 'this stuff might actually kill you if it gets into any orifice" CLP before, this is a great alternative to such.Within recent years, I've totally ditched real-deal toxic CLP lubricants due to the fact that they are literally unbearably toxic. Not only do the fumes make me nauseous after about an hour of cleaning but, despite wearing protective gloves and such, the chems have literally chewed through the material before which painfully dries my hands out. It sucks and although they work great, my health and comfort matters more to me. So, after tortuously putting 200ish rounds of steel case through my SIG M400, it was in dire need of a proper clean and relubrication again which is where this stuff came in handy.Now once again, like I and many others have said, this is not as good as classic CLP and you will need to use more of it. In my own usage, it took roughly 1/3rd of the bottle to fully relubricate my rifle. That is quite a bit just for one rifle. But, at the end of the day, everything is running VERY smoothly, my hands don't look like they were just bathing in acetone, and my lung tissue is no longer being slowly dissolved by the fumes.All-in-all, would recommend giving this a try over CLP just for the sake of your health and the environment. Its a good alternative and I will certainly be using this from now on.

This review is for PlanetSafe AIM Weapons Grade CLP Lube in the 1oz size with a Needle Tip. You get a single bottle of product here. This is a non-toxic and non-hazardous product so there are no strange odors here. I can smell nothing from the bottle when using it which is a huge plus.In the list of features this lube has it does not mention cleaning at all. The only time this mentions cleaning is with the CLP name, Clean Lube Protect. That is a sign of how well this cleans. It does okay at getting some dirt and grime off but anything more baked on is going to require a harsher solvent to be used which defeats the purpose of this all in one in the first place.How well it lubricates. It does fairly well at this task. I would say it is working nearly as good as my regular oil, maybe a 6/10. My go-to is Lucas ExtremeDuty and I don't think this unseats it at all but it does work well enough that this will make a good lube for a field bag.Overall not a bad product. The bottle you get is smaller but this will last me a long time. I think many people overuse their CLP and put too much product on. I will say that the pricing on this oil is pretty crazy. It is very high and I would not pay this normally. Definitely look into bigger bottles for a bulk discount if they are offered.
