Only used once and quick release locked up. Had to use rubber hammer and tap on release to free upIt does work but not the best quality

Adapter is adequate, works as intended and is a good value. The adapter tolerances are not great and the fit on my 1/2" impact driver is looser than I like.

I used this adapter on my Dewalt 1/2 inch impact wrench. I wanted to put screws into steel and my other drills did not have the power of the impact wrench. This adapter worked flawlessly with my 1/4 hex screw driver bits. It did not fall apart or jam. The bit can be removed easily. This converted my impact wrench into an overpowered screwdriver. This was much cheaper than other adapter options, and I got two of them. I haven't tested it with other types of hex bits.

Yeah I do of this add on tool is really good unfortunately the tool tends to lock your attachment in place so strongly that you have to pound it back out. But it does convert my half-inch impact driver into a quarter inch driver giving me more power than I would with a quarter inch.
