Ladies, I use a certain cosmetic line that is waterproof & has SPF 50. Waterproof makeup is notoriously difficult to remove thoroughly w/o special cleansers. Here's the newsflash: Mother Dirt cleaned it ALL off my face, including lip color and eye makeup, & it did all that gently and w/o nasty chemicals. It also cleansed perfectly w/o my having to use a brush or cloth as long as I made sure to work it in well and use my fingers in crevices like around the nose--same stuff you should be doing anyway really. If you do want to use a brush or cloth--and I do sometimes--it's still fab; you'll just want to work the product in first.The longer I use Mother Dirt cleanser the more impressed I am with it AND it seems like I need to use less over time. After using this, my skin readily accepts serums and other skincare products.I'm re-purchasing a two-pack now as it is a better price point than buying a single bottle and I'd like to try using it in the shower as well.Lastly, I was pleased with the customer service. The seller followed up with me about a week after the product arrived. Cheers!

So I've been using this for just under four weeks, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. For years I've been plagued by patches of rough redness on my face, like sunburn, only totally unconnected to any sun exposure. No one could tell me what it was, although I do think it has been related to shifts in hormonal cycle, and the red patches kept growing and growing. Nothing has ever done anything to help, until this cleanser. Slowly but surely the discoloration and roughness are easing back into the the clear, soft skin I had used to have. This is the first time I have seen the progression of redness go backwards. Giving four stars for now, but if in a few more months this progress has continued, it will be increased to 5.

I sooo wanted to love this product. I have acne free skin, but have redness. around my eyes. I thought this would finally help my life long issue. So the first day, I used the spray, okay, fine, nothing to speak of. Two days later I used the cleanser and was amazed at how well it removed my makeup, with very little scrubbing. I was ecstatic!!! The next morning I woke up and had acne and itchy bumps all over my cheeks. What? Never before in my life have I had more than one pimple at a time, and they were far and few between. Not knowing whether it was the spray or the cleanser that caused the breakout, I stopped both. The acne and bumps were gone in a few days. One month later, I tried the cleanser again and within 24 hours I had another breakout. The worst part....The spray had expired before I figured out which product caused the issue. Never again. A lot of money down the drain.

My sister introduced me to Mother Dirt products; my face and hair are forever grateful. I use all 4 MD products - the mist, moisturizer, cleanser, and shampoo and love them all. The cleanser is gentle on my mid-30s skin, and paired with the moisturizer and AO mist, I don't think my skin has looked this good in a long time. I can tell if I switch back to old products - my face is drier and feels tighter. The cleanser lasts about 4-6 weeks, depending on how many pumps you use, so it's a bit pricey, but I'm willing to pay more for such wonderful results. I'm a Mother Dirt convert!

My husband bought me the cleanser, moisturizer and the pro-biotic spray when he realized that nothing else was helping with my rosacea. After the first few days I noticed that it seemed less angry, (no more white bumps and a lot less red). I was still having some problems with dryness. The instructions say you can use the probiotic spray before or after the moisturizer. I was using it after. Two days ago I switched to spray first & moisturize after and I woke up this morning with the best skin I’ve had in a very long time. My only regret is not taking a “before” picture. I am 55+, live in Florida and the heat and humidity are tough. These products are lightweight and comfortable both with and without make up. Highly recommend.

I have been using this product since the winter and my skin has never looked happier, healthier, and cleaner. Most importantly, it is more CONSISTENTLY clean and healthy, I have struggled with deep under the skin pimples and over the skin breakouts for YEARS. Last fall, my boyfriend saw how emotional and upset I always was over this - I was trying any and everything to get clear skin and nothing was working. He discovered this cleanser for me via a podcast. I cannot be more thankful for discovering this, as it has truly changed my life. I have never felt better than I do now because of my clear and healthy skin.I use this product every night and some mornings (only after working out) - at night, I use it with a Sonic Facial Cleansing and Massaging Brush by LUXSIO (also bought on Amazon - HIGHLY recommend). I just cannot say enough how thankful and happy I am to have balanced skin and feel in control. THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!! XOXO

Love this stuff. Has slowly but surely after 4 weeks been clearing up rosacea. Does not leave your skin parched and dry like regular soap. I will continue to use this because it is very kind and gentle and improves the condition of your skin.

I love mother dirt but I can't perpetually use their products due to price. Hopefully in a couple years the whole kit will go down, I don't know, $10?

Works surprisingly well. No odour after long walks and office working all day. The exception was being in a very hot hospital environment when I did develop "whiffy" armpits; will need to use deodorant on such occasions. I have not used the live bacteria spray.

I'm undecided on this product. Drying on my skin, but I don't get so many spots

Was okay but but pricey and the pump action bottle got stuck before it finished. They need to change the poor quality plastic packaging as it hampers getting the product onto your skin!

Quite expensive for how long it lasted

Dries the skin, so I would not recommend it for mature types. Does not contain the beneficial bacteria so I would not bother buying it again. You might be better of with gentler oil cleaner and the mist which does contain the Amonia Oxidizing Bacteria. Quite expensive for just 8 weeks of use.
