Very good, no issues at all. Cheaper price but no differences at all!

One of the best games handhelds for sure (and despite the switch 2 being out now) The size, comfort in the hands, battery life 3 to 7 hours (depending on game and screen brightness etc), and quality build are great. It has decent speakers (and an headphone jack or Bluetooth) and a good LCD screen. What makes this so good for portable gaming is its small size. There isn’t really much out there from other big companies than comes close to the switch lite. Nintendos quality first party games selection, and hundreds of great third party games make it easy to find games in your preferred genre. I prefer playing playformer games on handhelds and the control layout, including the D pad, make it perfect for Mario, Kirby, Hollow Knight etc. Still an awesome device in 2025

I absolutely love my Nintendo switch lite console! I purchased it here on Amazon as it was pretty much sold out elsewhere & amazon was the 1st retailer to have the full selection of colours back in stock, & at an unbeatable price. I am a regular Amazon customer, & as this was a 'bigger' buy, & was to be delivered, based on my experiences with my usual Amazon deliveries, I trusted Amazon to deliver this not only promptly (which was great, on next day prime delivery), but also safely. It arrived speedily, & was well packaged & fully boxed as brand new & unopened, as it should be. The console box includes the lite console itself, & also includes the official Nintendo mains charger, which I think is the ' C ' USB cable (not the standard mini USB, but the slightly wider one which is used to charge Samsung tablets & Samsung phones)((these wider charging cables can be easily purchased separately, here on Amazon, or in a number of high street shops)), so with the charger included, it just needs to be fully charged prior to its 1st use. This console was simple to set up, & connect to WiFi, - though WiFi is NOT needed, & with this lite console, it DOESNT require pairing with a TV either, like the regular Switch console does, as this is a HANDHELD console. I know that most do have WiFi nowadays, & downloadable games are available on this console, alike its regular console, however, still, not everyone has access to WiFi, so 1 huge advantage of this console is that it can be used without having to connect up to a TV or WiFi. The console itself is sleek & easy to hold, with a touchscreen, & it is all in one, - the two joycon controllers which are removable & replaceable on the regular switch, is completely built into this lite console as a whole, so is a good solid console. It also has a game card slot, for physical games, a micro SD card slot, and has a headphone jack too. I've owned both the regular switch console, as well as this lite console, & I have to say that I much prefer this lite console. I would deffo purchase again in future, & from here on Amazon, & I would deffo highly recommend 👌 I hope you have found this review to be useful, 😉 x

Great little hand held device. Easy to use.

Bought this for my 5-year-old daughter and she’s got on with it really well. The size and weight are ideal for small hands, and the coral colour looks great in person – bright but not over the top. Setup was quick and simple, and she picked it up straight away. The battery life could definitely be better; after a couple of hours of games it’s ready for a top-up, but that’s fairly standard these days. The screen’s clear, the controls feel solid, and it’s taken a few gentle drops already without any issues. Games are on the pricey side, but that’s just gaming in 2025 – nothing new there. Overall though, it’s a cracking little console for kids, and great for long car journeys or keeping her busy at home without hogging the main TV.

Grandson loves it works like new as it should and looks like new. Very good value for money.

Final update June 24th 2020 So after a fantastic lockdown period with this machine grinding through Witcher 3 and such, the left joystick has developed the same fault as the other units I previously owned and thus is being returned. Have actually bought games that I have not even played yet online too so gutted as Nintendo will not refund those. My launch day Psp and Vita joysticks still work perfectly, probably because Sony did not cheap out on the parts. Back to PlayStation/Xbox for me, after over 30 years I have to say that I am done with you Nintendo. Update June 2020. So ended up getting a third machine in January, and it has been perfect! No issues and I finally got to really enjoy the Switch library. Great machine. Dec 2019 So far so good.... Noooo! Left joystick is faulty!!! Received the unit as a present for work recently done, well happy and surprised by how much I like the machine. Coming from a Vita (also PS4/VR), and being an older gamer I threw myself in at the deep end with a year's subscription to Nintendo online and bought a few games (Grid is the one for driving heads like myself). Just under a week later and my left joystick is faulty. To be honest it was a little off from the start but I didn't really notice it until I was playing open wheel races In Grid and found myself unable to turn a few times too many. A quick calibration test showed a faulty left stick was the culprit behind some of my crashes. The main annoyance is that when my launch day PSVR was faulty there was no push back from Sony, a replacement was immediately sent-on more than one occasion and since the last unit was sent and for the past few years I have enjoyed using that unit trouble free. With the Switch I was offered a repair which I though was not good at all after under a weeks ownership and just over an hours actual use. Very unusual for Amazon tbh. I have also had a look online and it seems to be an issue that Nintendo are doing their best not to deal with. Anyway not here to bash Nintendo as I absolutely love the machine, which is why the fault is so annoying. But because I have now jumped in and committed to a year of Nintendo online, and I really am happy with the games I have played (New Mario, Devil May Cry, Cup head) I am now waiting for a replacement rather than refund. I am now very apprehensive about the machine in all honesty though, especially as I still own and regularly use my launch day Vita which has never given me any issues. Was going to get a full size Switch for my kids for Xams after the first few days use, but very much doubt that now. I may change my mind if the replacement gives me no issues... Will update my review when I recieve it. Update: 17th November 2019. Received send unit, immediately noticed that the left analogue stick felt a lot tighter. Calibration test was all good, so transferred all data over from the first unit and continued gaming. Now four days later the right stick has suddenly developed a deadzone..though to be honest that felt a little loose (like the initial consoles left stick) from the start. Contacted Amazon immediately and was told to return the console after feeding back my doubts about them possibly having a faulty batch. Now to all potential owners. I am very gentle with all my controllers (being a collector I like them to last!), both my consoles developed their issues after a few days of playing New Super Mario bros Deluxe, Grid, Doom 3 and Devil May Cry. None of these games are very intensive in regards to controller input (unlike say Smash Bros for example), so I can only imagine how long such a machine would last in the hands of say a button mashing 7-10 year old playing something demanding. Very disappointed, and after a little research into the whole Joycon thing (which I initially dismissed) I think I will stay away from Nintendo's modern machines for a while. At least Amazon has been on point with there customer service as always, I am not so sure about Nintendo, whom I have also asked for a refund (for the years online subscription and games I bought online from the store that I will no longer be able to use/play). Sigh.

Great console, has taken an absolute battering over the last two years from our 8yo and still working perfectly, no damage to the screen, battery life still decent etc. Have replaced with the switch 2 for this christmas but this will no doubt still get daily use as son loves it. Perfect for on the go/long car journeys but equally as good for just down time at home. Would recommend

I have bought this switch a year ago (April 21st 2023) and let me tell you that thing was a blast, I initially started to play free games offered on the switch (btw.. please play deltarune.. you'll get 20+ hours of playtime on the game and its free!) but to keep this great, however if you're interested in your controllers disconnecting.. don't get this, however if you want a system to play games on the go, this is the console, get it!! :D

There are tons of free and pre-installed games but you have to uninstall one if you want to play another because of its lack of space.I therefore recomend buying a microSD card with it,😎
