CountryMaxPicnic Table Corn Cob Squirrel Feeder

This has been fun. We've used corn cobs and loose bird seed just sitting on the tabletop. We've gotten squirrels, birds, and chipmunks. The only complaint is that the backboard has predrilled holes that we couldn't use because we wanted to put it on a pole versus on a tree. The holes are located horizontal from each other which does not work if you are going to put it on a pole. Easily fixed, but would be better to leave it to buyer instead of pre-drilling.

The size of this table was nice, but that was about it. It is very lightweight and doesn't feel well made. The wood is very rough and in many places had broken or splintered. When it arrived, the back piece of wood that you put the screws through to mount to the tree had a big crack in it and when I went to put it on the tree it began to separate more. Hopefully, it will last long enough for the squirrels to get to enjoy it, but I'm afraid with the split in the wood that it might soon break apart.

This is a super well built and adorable squirrel feeder. The only complaint was that the corners and the edges were a bit sharp. I hit them will a hand sander and smoothed them over. It was probably more aesthetic than a functional problem but I wanted it to be gentle on my baby squirrels.

Love this! Watching the squirrels has become one of the most interesting part of our day for quarantine! The squirrels look so cute on the table!It arrived completely ready to go, nails and everything. My husband had it set into the tree within two minutes. Add in a 4 dollar bag of dried corn from the hardware store and we are all set!

After receiving several notes about these type of products I decided to buy one and send to a family member. As a person in the building industry, I chose Country Max based on their design as others looked very flimsy. Well I made the right choice. The family members love theirs, other friends have since ordered based on our recommendation of Country Max and my family sent me one too. Thank you !

This feeder doesn't hold up well in the weather. It has already started to rot and weaken. It probably won't last one full season. Keep that in mind.
